Straight here. But with a libertarian laissez-faire attitude toward alternative lifestyles.

Consenting adults should be free to choose their own sexual practices and personal relationships. Government does not have legitimate authority to define or license personal relationships. Sexuality or gender should have no impact on the rights of individuals.

I'm a gay.

Straight: 64
Gay: 42

Now my question is how many "Straights" have tendencies or have thought about it....?

How many said they were gay, but are really just straight and want to be like us?

Asexual? No comment.

Bi: Make up your mind! Just kidding. Sexuality is totally fluid, so I'm surprised more people don't identify as bi.

No homosexual tendencies nor even "hey, that guy's kinda cute" ever here. The only physical contact with men I'll allow myself is a handshake. I can't stand the Belgian custom of men kissing each other on a cheek as a greeting (very widespread among heterosexuals, too!), but my friends know I don't like to be kissed by guys so they don't molest me.  Smile

Huh?  Confused Why would a straight man want to be gay?

Fluid as in "ever changing" or as in "ambiguous, ill-defined"? Being straight, I honestly can't imagine how I could ever become gay.

But out of curiosity on the rainbow flag (and yes I did read Wikipedia), but why do they have all colours but one from the rainbow??

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. Seven, but I often see six colours on their Flag.

Because indigo is overkill, because 95% of straights would say "Why do you have two different purple stripes on your flag?", because it's hard enough to get one stable purple-range dye let alone two, and because it's easier to divide the intended size of your flag by six than it is by seven.

Of course, those are all just guesses... Big grin

Have you ever kiss your father?

Because I do it each time I see him. He's almost 83, and a kiss on his cheek is an expression of love, respect, and a way to tell him, without a single word, how much I admire and love him. And we both are straight.

You are totally correct. I kiss my Dad and Uncles on the cheek . Its nothing to do with being less of a Man. In the Middle East you can see guys with their arms around each other and its nothing to do with Homosexuality at all. Its just different traditions .

Of course. I don't kiss my father not because of any stupid fear of be taken for a homosexual - it just isn't practiced in the culture my parents were raised in and in which they in turn raised me. Arab or Thai men can hold hands without any sexual connotations, but I still have to remind myself not to withdraw or be visibly disgusted whenever I interact with people from "touchy" cultures. By "people" I mean men, because being spontaneously touched by unknown women doesn't bother me in the least! Big grin

Oh dear, there seem to be some issues here.

There are about five or six heterosexual men that I kiss - and who kiss me - when we meet. They have absolutely no problem with my being gay and they have absolutely no feeling that their heterosexuality is being compromised because they kiss a gay man, or two, if you include my partner. Our kissing = three pecks on cheek, usually left-right-left.

Some Jews may not agree with that. They don't sake hands, kiss or simply don't be "touched" by women during "certain days" [I honestly don't know how to say that in English, but I really hope everybody understand] of the month, based in their religious beliefs.

Based on an intentional reflection on my own 'interests', in an effort to be open-minded and not just 'assume' I was straight, I've concluded that I'm about 85% straight and about 15% gay, which is enough to make me a little bit open-minded, but not enough, in my opinion, to count myself as bi. I can sometimes be mildly-to-moderately attracted to guys in certain ways, but not enough that I think anything would ever really develop. So, I just count myself as straight.
