(yes, it's @#$%ing hot in LAS in August):

Hey, Srbmod, have you checked the rates at all the other hotels in the valley i.e. Green Valley Ranch Station, Red Rock H&C? Or are you just focusing on the famous 9 mile piece of road?
Quoting Srbmod (Reply 6):
If I was going to be paying $1000 for four nights, I'd probably chose the Bellagio over GVR.
Quoting Srbmod (Thread starter):
4/03: $ 99.00
4/06: $ 89.00
Quoting LASOctoberB6 (Reply 7):
That's a bit odd...
Quoting SNATH (Reply 11):
Hey, thanks for all the info! BTW, have we made sure we're not going to overlap to any school breaks, like last time?
Quoting Srbmod (Reply 12):
rom what I can find, the school districts in the Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas areas look like they will be doing Spring Break in March, most of them around Easter, some earlier in the month. Same goes with UNLV, UCLA, USC, University of Arizona, and Arizona State.
Quoting Vikkyvik (Reply 14):
.It sorta depends on how much I lose when I go to Vegas in January
Quoting Goldenshield (Reply 17):
Unless there are better room rates, I'm probably going to back out. $600 for the hotel alone is way over my budget.
Quoting Goldenshield (Reply 20):
Casino Royale looks promising, as does the Strat.
I'll have to wait and see how my tax refund looks.
Quoting Goldenshield (Reply 22):
I got an internet special room rate that's even better than you posted, SRB. So, might as well change the stats.
Quoting Goldenshield (Reply 26):
I never stayed at the ho, but I did enjoy her cheap hot dogs and margaritas!
Quoting Goldenshield (Reply 24):
Plus, the Casino Royale is as close to the meeting point as I'm going to get with those rates. I lucked out last year with IP.

I just booked my room @ The Flamingo, so I'm squared away there and will probably book my flight sometime this weekend.
Quoting LASOctoberB6 (Reply 38):
Is your departing flight 1789?
Quoting RJdxer (Reply 37):
Those hotel rates need to be updated.

We're trying to put every cent towards the wedding and the missus is giving me a bad time about "wasting" money on Vegas
You bought her a nice house in a nice suburb, you've agreed to let her marry you.....where does it end I ask!! duck
Quoting RJdxer (Reply 40):
The Plaza downtown, mini suite, $175 bucks checking in the 4th departing the 6th. Now we're talkin!
Quoting RJdxer (Reply 46):
Tell her to axe a bridesmaid and groomsman, offer only the chicken at the reception, and you're in!
Quoting BCAInfoSys (Reply 45):
Unfortunately, given that we're saving for a $15K wedding
