And with that...

Beyond parsing. You are now referring to "literal quotes" and "commentary and interpretation in direct juxtaposition" dude...starting with the big words that will impress everyone? You usually get folks to stop arguing after you use such terminology? I have to guess you got picked on alot as a small kid and never got over it. You're arguing against fact as shown.

Personal attacks as a substitute for arguments yet again.  Yeah sure

A quote is that box above. Outside of that it's my opinion.

If you were actually interested in making your point, you could have pointed to that argument of mine right away. You didn't. You chose getting personal and have never ceased to stoop to that level.

I leave you to your insults and to my clearly stated response above.

So I finally got my answer, but apparently you are still clinging to your verifiably false accusations.

What a waste of time.

Your own definition said it was defined as being inside quotation marks. You ignore the facts you don't like.

I agree that you're wasting time. Is this your signal that you're declaring victory and moving on or are you just going to sulk?

I made my point. Several times. You seem to wish it would go away and think that by vociferously ignoring it you'll succeed in making it null and void.

Have you sought help for this pathological issue? I hear it's free in Germany. Look into it.

Yes, they are published, but I don't give out specifics on the internet. I have had problems doing that in the past. Some people who claimed interest actually had a less than pleasant agenda.

I'm not suggesting you have an agenda, only that it has happened in the past.

Thanks anyway.

Just pure "academical" interest as History of Law Professor. If you change your mind please send the info through my mail provided in my profile.

Thanks.

BTW. I just want to reiterate that this type of threads are always a source of hate and problems. The fellow a.netter thread starter [QANTASforever] almost said nothing, and we can't expect anything else from him since he's not a member anymore.

Thank you very much... but that is really not a pleasant thought in any kind or form. Harsh treatment is reserved for certain pet claims and opinions, but it stops at the other end of the leash. Big grin

And I don't read the FAZ.

Not really. I just occasionally check out their bizarre headlines in the store for amusement.

Not a problem... the FAZ just is a bit too ostensibly conservative for my taste. Der SPIEGEL has a habit of pissing off everybody on every side with equal enthusiasm, which suits me better as you can probably imagine.  silly

Merry Christmas DL021!

Merry Christmas Klaus!

...and a great new year to everybody!

From me as well!

I have reached a level of understanding about Klaus....his definition of "truth" is a flexible one, that he can change to suit his own needs. Much like religious texts can be interpreted by individuals to suit their own desires/needs, and religious holidays can be celebrated by everyone, religious or not for any reason they choose.

As far as his inability to cop to the fact that not only did he mischaracterize my statement by misquoting me (using his definition prior to the definition he went with when the first one backfired on him) setting up the incorrect premise to his later personal attacks, well, I can live with it.

Because its a new day. The past is behind us, and we can't change what's happened (although it can be argued with or without integrity) and all we can change is the future.

So. I say again... Happy New Year
