Car is a 1998 Dodge Neon R/T, black w/ silver stripes, member is from the tri-state area.
It's turboed and has many visual/interior/engine upgrades.
Notify law enforcement if you see a vehicle matching this description/pics.

Your friend should consider that POS being stolen his Christmas present.

Because the stripes make it faster?

You can only put so much lipstick on a pig. At the end of the day it is still a Neon no matter what is in it.

All that money and no Lo-Jack...

It's okay though, you don't need a Lo-Jack, the fire department now has custody of the car.

I meant to ask if this was NJ/NY/CT myself since I live in NJ, the tristate area to me is them... but do other people in the nation refer to the tristate area themselves? I don't mean calling NJ/NY/CT as tristate, but rather people living near other borders. Or perhaps this is a unique phenomena to these three states?

Guys, regardless what kind of car, it is still rude to say the thieve did him a favor. Neons are good cars if they are taken care of.

A stolen Neon?!? Whoodathunkit.

I think stolen Neons are only outnumbered by stolen 90s-model Civics around here.

I think the REAL reason this one was stolen was because it had an 18-wheeler steering wheel mounted in it.

Do they have any leads? How about any suspects? Can they throw up a dragnet around the tri-state area? The boys at the crime lab must be working overtime on this one.

Hello? Is this the NYPD? I just saw a Black Dodge Neon w/ silver stripes, and some guy from Tunisia, whose name I don't know , told me to report if I see it, because it's stolen from some other guy whose name I don't know.... (but he lives in one of three states... I think...)

Don't worry, if they're stupid enough to jack that jalopy, they shouldn't be to difficult to track down. However, if your friend added a little more rice, it would probably be easier to spot.

Yea.. don't laugh...

not only are they cheap, but let's not forget, the Chrysler/Dodge Neon is one of about 10 cars that passes the newly formed 35MPG mileage standard the wonderful Congress just passed..

Hey everyone, get used to it.. Dodge Neon's and the like are what we are going to be driving in 2020. Thanks to the Government...
