NFL Poll . . . What Balloons?

Wed Jan 09, 2008 12:23 am

OK Boyz and Girls of A-Net . . .

As some knoow, my fiance' owns a Party Store . . . you know, ballons, cards, trinkets, birthday party supplies, etc.

Well, since we're down to the last three weekends of our current NFL season, she's wondering what ballons to buy in anticipation of the Big One . . .

Based on what team is up against what team next weekend, I suggested she get these Balloons for the Conference Championship Games on 1/20/08:
New England, Indy, Dallas and Green Bay . . .

And she should probably order some extra Dallas and New England ballons for the Big One on 2/3/08.

What say you . . . . which balloons?

With the way the Jags are playing, I would get a few extra of those, though I don't know how many fans they have in Alaska.

We're surrounded by Minnesota Fans up here . . . I don't get that at all . . .

Slowhawk fans too . . . but they'll be dispatched this weekend by the Pack.

That'd be the tickets, but Dallas is going to be against the Pack in the Conf game, and the Dallas has handed the Pack their asses last couple times they met . . . don't see it getting there.

I think the force that is Favre may well overcome the Cowgirls in a game that means so much. Still, I don't think we should be counting out the Bolts. They are probably the best equipped team in football to take care of the Pats.

That's all true, but... last time the Packers played Dallas they were missing KGB, and Charles Woodson (their 2 best defensive players). And, Favre was out for a half. (Even though Favre was horrible that game). With a 100% healthy team, you never know what could've happened.

Hey I'm just glad the Packers don't have to play the Bears in the playoffs! Big grin

They have to get by the Colts first, and they're not going to do it without Antonio Gates.

Indy-NE in the AFC Championship, with NE probably winning in a low scoring affair.

Get a few Packers and Patriots balloons, and a few extra Packers balloons once the Pack destroys NE's perfect season.  Wink

My prediction for the Conference Championship: Indianapolis vs New England (AFC) and Dallas vs Green Bay.

Superbowl XLIII will be a match between the New England Patriots vs Green Bay Packers, with the Pack winning once again against the Pats, just like they did in Superbowl XXXI.  Wink

There used to be a lot of Green Bay fans out on the North Road. I don't know if it's still that way though.

Chargers vs. Giants. Let's see the two most mediocre teams ever to make it to the playoffs, then beat the odds and go to the Superbowl....or Superbowel. Lots of blue and gold balloons for the Chargers and....I don't know the Giants' colors.

Probably - but I think the Giants are beating the Cowboys. After that, the Packers beat the Giants, but lose to NE in the big game.

I dunno . . . I'm thinking the Cowboys will eat up the Giants . . . and then do the same to the Pack . . .

If they play like they did the first 12 weeks, I agree. But the last month, they've looked like Tampa Bay in 72. An exaggeration I know, but they really haven't played very well of late.
