I will try to get one of my blonde highlight on top tomorrow. It should be noted my picture makes me look 10lb overweight as I lost those pounds.

Only so many times can I subject you to anothr dose of "emo angst" lol. I'm not emo, I just don't like my smile at all and so not many pictures exist on my hard drive of a smile.

Well you're certainly OK in the top one, and unless you have tight black trousers on, you're fine in the second one too.

My thoughts go out to you and your friend...sounds like a tragedy indeed. Mountain climbing is without a doubt a dangerous thing......

yea it can get very dangerous , you always have to keep a clear mind and be fixed on your safety if you don't do so sooner or later you'll have an accident .

Quoting RIHNOSAUR (Reply 46):

I am very sorry for your loss. once again my thought extend to you and your friends family.

Thank you very kind of you .

Quoting RIHNOSAUR (Reply 46):

For this reason, when we were just 100 m below the summit.....the weather kept on getting worse....complete white out and the wind velocity was fierce....it was -15 -20 C !......the guide said...I think it is not safe to continue.....so we made a tough choice...(debated for like 15 min!)..and .just shy of the summit of Cotopaxi we returned....
needless to say I did not make it to the very top....but very darn close to it...
however ...to me all that matters is that I am here writing to you ....and that soon I shall be able to see my new baby! its better than having to needlessly take unnecessary risks

Yea that's the matter , and in some way this friend was too confident in his self , at the end this cost his live maybe worse it cost the childs to have a father this poor kids will have to grow up without a father , just because of his father being not too careful .. what I want to say , you can't be too careful if, you can take another security take it .

Quoting RIHNOSAUR (Reply 46):
the mountain is there..and I can always go back....
+ I would have not been able to see anything!!! it was a white out!!!...just kidding I am glad we returned safely with just another neat experience to talk about.!!!

Quoting RIHNOSAUR (Reply 46):
Absolutely!!!!!! I want to go back to Cotopaxi for the mentioned reasons..and then I would love to try out Chimborazo....!!!!

The Chimborazo is said to be easier than the Cotopaxi , it's just higher .

Quoting RIHNOSAUR (Reply 46):
PS I wish I could have seen a Condor.....Still have never seen one in the wild....they must be impressive

Yea they are ! I recommend you to aclimatize go to the Pasochoa , it's very near to the Cotopaxi and it's a beautiful climb , through a beautiful tropical forest , and then walking through the paramo with a great sight to Cayambe , Cotopaxi , Antisana , Iliniza etc . If you climb it PM me and say how it was !

Constantin

PD : If you want smth difficult try the Altar , some Million years ago it was the highest mountain worldwide until it had an explosion like the Mc St Helens , it's one of the greatest sighst you can have the mountain itself is like an Altar

Well, 1) Brown is my color, I don't wear black unless it's my skin (  Wink ) or it has the combination of red, yellow, and green on it. And 2), there are fat emo kids too. So please don't assume I am emo when you never ever see me day in and day out, or better yet, even know who I am.
