Nice to hear the "extended" version with the couple of extra verses you don't normally hear, but who on earth put that awful video together?!?!

I know, tacky or what - but at least it's a way of listening to the song.

Quoting AF340 (Reply 87):
You just saw Darjeeling Limited didn't you? Man I have had that song stuck in my head since December! I sound like an ass when I sing it in the shower, though.

Nope, just randomly stuck in my head!

Currently listening to:

'Miss Murderess', by Macbeth

then it will be some Lunatica.

OK, I can deal with all of those, and quite happily so, especially Funeral for a Friend, which is from Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, one of my favourite albums of all time...but Gold?? No..nono...no...no...!!! And yeah, OK, I sing along under duress...and the affluence of incahol!!  Big grin

Kind of half watching and half listening to Fr. Ted. Feck! Arse! Nuns!

One of my favourite episodes too! The novelist who visits Craggy Island and Mrs. Doyle's description of the language in her books ... "you fecker, ya bollocks ... shag me sideways, that was another one!" Ah yes, nothing like it!

Cool! Their other album Hold on It Hurts is good too, although it never was that popular. I also like how they pay homage, in the aformentioned song, to Indian singers and Bollywood song. The song is named for the famous Indian singer, Asha Bhosle.

They released three albums I believe...being a good friend, I bought them all (although would have been nice to have got them as freebies!). Their last album had a great aviation-related song that featured sound bites from BEA cabin announcements made during a flight from LHR to GVA I believe, although could be wrong on the exact details...I'll have to check out the album again.
