I am sorry, but Mr Clean came up in the USA a decade earlier than Meister Proper in Germany (etc), and is produced by Procter & Gamble. William Procter was from England and James Gamble from Ireland and they established their joint company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Here the picture of the founders :
