Ok, It's Not Friday,but A Stupid Thread Anyway

Not including allergies, or when you have a cold, how often do you sneeze? I mean a sneeze for no other apparent reason than your nose needs to sneeze.....do you only sneeze once, or are you like me and sneeze a good half dozen times before your nose is happy?

Done that a time or two...I get nosebleeds fairly often when I go to a really dry climate, and I sneeze a lot....so every time I go to NH, my daughter's llike "Look out, she's gonna blow!!".....

I have probably sneezed a good 8 or 9 times at once, but usually 2 or 3. Most of the time, I keep it in too, which hurts some people.

I'm normally good after about 3 or 4, although there are times when it can get a bit lengthy.

If I intake a lot of dust I sneeze, but not many times else. When I do (and am not in public) I let a really big one go so I do not have to sneeze more than once.

The most I've ever sneezed in series was probably five or six times, but that is very rare. I typically sneeze only twice.


Now my Dad, he was the sneezer. A typical series for him would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 - 40 sneezes, which a break of a couple of seconds between each one. His all time record, at least as long as I've known him, was 60! His sneezing style has since changed into a more normal "pattern."
I lift things up and put them down.

With me, random sneezes are singular.

When I have a cold, I tend to get them in three-in-a-row fashion, which is always interesting, as you never know which one will produce 'the goods'.

I get my sneezes at awkward times - mine are really loud, and try as I might I cannot make them quiet. So naturally, I sneeze when in classrooms and in quiet places, or when I'm trying to watch a movie with friends. Never when I'm in a noisy environment or in the middle of nowhere!

Sneezing is such a good feeling! Looking at a bright light makes me sneeze, as well as eating plain chocolate.

Weak.  wink  My record is twelve, with my average also being around six. I always laugh when I sneeze that many times and people ask me "are you okay?" like it isn't normal.

I've been sneezing a lot lately as I've had a cold since last Friday that finally appears to be on the home stretch.
