Right, its 2008, so time to start planning the mega MAN meet once again!

Dates will be the first weekend in July, as always (5th - 6th July)

Not been to a MAN meet one since the first one, but wouldn't mind trying to come to this one. Not been to any meets since Iceland last April !!!. Only been to MAN once since as well, when the AN-225 was there and Mr Myt332 joined us in his whistle and flute and bugged out of a job interview to watch planes and stand around in muddy fields with myself and Ben!!!.

Oh yea, I forgot about that! Basically I just turned up to plane spot at MAN in a suit, classy spotter or what? Wink

I didn't want that stupid job anyway and in the end it lead to me getting a much better one a few weeks later so all's well that ends well.

This year I'm determined to make a meet. I'm no longer a teenager who scrounges for money from relatives, I have a job! So looks like I'll most probably be able to afford flights.

I'll be visiting MAN again two weeks after the meet also.

Once the meet is well and truly definite I'll be booking it.

Well I think it's pretty definite that me, MYT332 and Nighthawk will be there anyway, barring some natural disaster! I only need to hop on a train, or get the LGW-MAN shuttle depending on where I am the day before, so I don't need to think about booking too seriously but as the MAN meet is the same time every year I think we can assume those dates are pretty much fixed.

the MAN meet is always the first weekend - you chose to do the kiev meet the weekend before Silly
