I'm not sure I've got the spelling right on all of them, but has anybody "seen"......

Has anybody ever heard something from the skipper again?
In the beginning I joined he was one of the most prominent users onboard but had to self-delete after a job change IIRC.
Anybody knows if he came back under another name?

No I don't think he has another name here... I don't have fresh news from him, I will try to send him an email. I guess he's still in Argentina.

He had a very unique posting style - would be nearly impossible to miss it.

It's weird how you forget all the names of long gone users, but instantly remember once brought up. I remember just about all these users from the early days. However I don't have any information on them today.

He deleted the OYRJA name about two years back, came back as Clogman, deleted that username and returned as OYRJA. He hasn't posted since about the time he came over to the States to visit his brother here in Atlanta and go to Las Vegas.

A few of those on that list are either banned or simply never came back after being banned.

He said back in the Fall he was coming to the States in late March, early April. So I'm guessing he's either changed his mind on the trip to the States or he's got a bunch of vacation days to use.......

Nothing dramatic happened. I took a self-imposed hiatus for a few months, as I was preparing for an "imminent" transfer to an investigative division, but after much dicking around by the brass, my opportunity came and went. I've now managed to secure and become content with a day shift patrol spot and am re-entering "normal" life.

As for the screen name, I abandoned "IAH777" for a moniker more suited to me.

Last 2 still banned, as of this post. Airlinelover - catch him elsewhere . . . he and unseal's posts have been just over the standard "34 days", so . . . not sure if unseal (or BMIflyer) can post ever from where they are. STLGph - had some disagreements with him (and Westy), but still a loss to the forums (both) . . . same on that last point goes for Mrniji . . . Speedbirdie - she's always the one flying around the world with some guy here or there waiting for her, if memory serves . . . One guy most of you don't know about due to that you membership most likely started after he was gone, is "Twotterwrench". A member that really knew how to piss everybody off if you didn't know how to read between the lines. Wink

Pretty desent guy after all, and he sure knew how to spice things up around here, and he also had a lot of info to share as he was/is a aircraft tech.

Yeah, he is a great guy who never thought that any question was to small or stupid to ask. And his answers were always formed so that everyone could understand what he meant.
One pilot that reminds me of B747Skipper is "Philsquare". Also a 474 cpt. that has a lot to share, and also does.
So there is still plenty of knowledge around.

The best on a.net! A senior 747 Captain / Instructor with a major airline before the A380. What else could one ask for on the tech forum, and the length that he used to go to satisfy the questions...You could tell he was an instructor, too good to be around forever. A really nice person to top it all up. Damn the stupid s#@t who turned him off.

Someone hacked his account, stole aload of photos from other sites and uploaded them in his name (Allegedly) and everyone knew about it before he did - and the usual hate campaign started so after it was all straightened out he left Anet.

Actually a News Producer, and in Des Moines I believe, so not an on-air gig. I saw him in September '07 in Iowa City along with a few other Nutters . . . not much contact since.

She let her First Class Membership lapse and never came back. Lee (BMIFlyer) gave some of us a bit of insight on her departure during the LAS Meet last year (Yes folks do get talked about during meets.), and based on the info he gave (most of it I can't even vaguely recall as I think those braincells got killed a short time later by a Jagerbomb.). I don't see her coming back anytime soon.
