Quoting Falcon84 (Thread starter): I don't understand parents being so wrapped up in everything else that they forget their kids. |

Quoting JGPH1A (Reply 1): You'd think someone could invent some kind of seperation alarm. |
Quoting ANCFlyer (Reply 2): Already been invented - it's called "good parenting". Too bad some folks don't know how to use it. |

Quoting Falcon84 (Thread starter): But, again, I would not charge the man with anything. He's going to have to live with his wrapped-up mind and what it cost him for the rest of his life. That is punishment enough. |
Quoting JGPH1A (Reply 3): But who of us (apart from me, obviously) is perfect ? |
Quoting Queso (Reply 7): This is a human being we're talking about, that is fragile and depends on it's parents for everything. It can't just be chalked up to "imperfection" when a child's life is at stake. |
Quoting ANCFlyer (Reply 5): There are things that parents can be given a pass for missing . . . leaving your kid in a car ain't one of 'em. |

Quoting Mir (Reply 10): The aim should not be to score points off of his mistake. But if you can use this guy's story to make other parents aware that yes, it could happen to them while they're not thinking, and perhaps reduce the possibility of this happening again, that would be a smart move in my book. |
