What Are You Listening To Now?

Sun Jun 29, 2008 2:06 pm

It's 700am here and I'm wide awake.

I turned on my iPod and am listening to Shooting Star by Air Traffic. Looks like the album came out last year in Europe but this is the first I've heard it in the states.

The song can also be heard in the commercial for the Phantom Coupe.

So what are you listening to?

Adam's Song by Blink 182 has just finished, now it's All the Small Things (Listening to Enema of the State)

Not really been big on Blink but :O I've suddenly become very into them. Pointless because they split up in 2005....

The last three things I listened to:

1) Beethoven: Symphony #9, 4th movement
2) Bebe: Que Nadie me Levante la Voz
3) Anoikis: I Still Remember

So:
1) Classical
2) Spanish pop
3) Trance

I have very picky and selective tastes, but they're rather "eclectic."

Next in line: Handel: Dixit Dominus HWV 232 #1 "Dixit Dominus"

Right now, JFK Clearance/Ground courtesy of LiveATC. I always have to have some kind of "background noise" so I click on some kind of ATC when I'm on the computer a lot of the time.

Most of what I listen to is electronic, rock, metal, and futurepop. Strange combination of interests, but whatever.  Smile

My favorite online radio website (1club.fm), station 93.1 The Beat (live feed from Miami). I change out what station I listen to depending on my mood. Since it is a monday, I need club music to keep me going!!! This is a really great website with a TON of online stations at your fingertips and a bunch of genres from hardcore dance all the way down the chain to big band. This place has it all!  cool

Was just listening to this, Took the Last Train by David Gates - it used to bring back childhood memories for me, but as I hadn't heard it for years until very recently, it now reminds me (thanks to Radio 2) of a particularly good, sunny trip to Northern Ireland in May! :

Magnus, Summer's Here

Magnus was a project of Tom Barman, front singer of the Belgian band dEUS. The song was used in his first (and great!) movie, Anyway The Wind Blows. The opening of the song is a sample from Donald Byrd's Christo Redentor...

Hm... by the time I've finished typing, the song has ended  Smile

Its 8:00pm. I'm listening to the archived Mike & Mike Show on ESPN Radio. My cruddy local AM station had ESPN then dropped it (drove me nuts). For $30/year become an ESPN Insider and you can listen to ESPN Radio 24/7. Its the best investment I've ever made.
