Fridays Random Thread: Show Us Your City's Website

Fri Jul 18, 2008 3:50 pm

So this being the age of the internet, I'm sure even the smallest most insignificant speck-on-the-planet type of town has its own website. So I figured we could learn a little bit about other a.nutters, by posting each others' city websites.

No rules really, just show us the site from where you are at the moment, if you move around a lot, more than one site is fine. As a bonus, add the state/province you're in as well if you want.

Right now I'm typing from:

http://www.hermosillo.gob.mx/

which is in the state of:

http://www.gotosonora.com

Alright, your turn.

Cheers   wave

I had to google it, since I do not need to look at my city's sites. I actually live in Gresham:

www.ci.gresham.or.us
www.gresham.org

But we are on the east side of the largest city in Oregon, Portland:

You bet I'm pumped!!! I just had a green tea!!!

Our 'city' is too damn small to have its own website.....the island does, though:

Well, here goes:

http://www.visitoxford.org/ is the tourism website (and it's a bit rubbish really, considering how Oxford's so much of a tourist magnet).

local authorities are

http://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk (Oxfordshire County Council)
and
http://www.oxford.gov.uk (Oxford City Council)

I suppose I should probably put the university in too, since you can't really ignore it when you come here (though you try and ignore it if you live here!).
