LHR Meet 04-05 October 08

Mon Aug 11, 2008 11:15 pm

Good Evening everyone!
I would like to firstly welcome myself back to A.Net as it has been nearly a
year since I last posted. Now I'm sure some of you may remember me, some
of you may not, and some of you may not even care.. But hey, here I am!

Now I thought I would start off my first post with an LHR meet. Unfortunately
I could not attend the MAN meet due to my company screwing me up and the
chances of me attending this one will aslo be slim, but hey, I will give it a shot!
So its about time for an LHR meet and we do seem to try and get one done
ever year, so why not this year?

The dates I am proposing is the weekend of the 4/5 October, being a Sat
and Sun.

How do people feel about this? Feel free to add some input!

Kind regards....

Since I'm bored, I guess I'll start the list of attendees and other interested parties in the generally accepted format:

Yes -
1. Steve7E7

Maybe -
1. Speedbirdie
2. BMIFlyer
3. Aerobalance
4. ShyFlyer

I put myself down as a maybe. I'll watch this thread with much interest.

Quoting Speedbirdie (Thread starter):

I remember you, though you probably have no clue who I am.  Silly

I put you down as a maybe since you said your chances of attending are slim. Hope that was ok?
I lift things up and put them down.

Why not just pick dates where you know you will be able to attend?  Yeah sure

Happy birthday Andz

I thought the same thing when I saw this thread. And happy birthday for me too!

I know a large number of birthdays of people around (it scares some people) but you Andz are the only person whose birthday I know but have never met. Must be scary knowing some random 15 year old Australian knows your birthday.

Anyways, hope you guys have fun! I'm hanging out for a SYD meet sometime, maybe next year.

Few weeks earlier and I'd actually be at LHR anyway!

No tours at LHR !!!. Only the ones you do yourself using the free bus services around the airport !!.

Could possibly do a side trip to Brooklands for those that want to see G-BBDG ?.

The only tour you are liable to get is, "The toilet is to the left and the bar is over there. They have Fosters, Stella, Guinness and various Bitters on tap. Mines a Stella cheers".

You forgot the Strongbow Alex.
