Do you watch DVD's on your computer? Or did you forego that as well?

I watched a DVD once when I was laid-up for a day and couldn't walk, but to be honest it wasn't particularly easy to watch, I don't know why. I go to the cinema when there's something I want to see, but the odd time one of my mates will get one out that I've missed, and which he knows I'd like, and ask me round, though that wouldn't be more than say, six times a year.

He has some episodes of Air Crash Investigation and Seconds From Disaster recorded and I've seen several of them. The first is good, the second overdramatised and repetitive.

I stopped watching TV about 1 1/2 years ago, though last week, when I got stuck in my room at the FRA Steigenberger airport hotel on a business trip, I switched on the box out of pure boredom (at home I have plenty to do to keep me busy). I discovered that I didn't miss TV. The programmes are just as sh*tty as last year.
I still own a TV (actually two of them), but only use them to watch DVDs when my fiancee is visiting me.

I could fly a plane before I could drive (I started lessons when I was 14)

I've been in two television shows: Point Pleasant (2005), and Veronica Mars (2006)

I've been in two movies: Running with Scissors (2006), and Walk the Talk (2007)

I can juggle

I met my husband by chance in an AOL hockey chatroom in 1998. We got married exactly one year later to the date and have been married for 9 1/2 years now.

I had season tickets for the San Diego Gulls hockey team (IHL) from 1991-1995 and got to know a few of the players. I was able to shoot pucks in the net with Clint Malarchuk in goal and see some great ex and current NHL'ers play...Ray Whitney, Miroslav Satan, Ron Duguay, Dale DeGray - my fav, Tony McKegney, John Anderson...

I LOVE to cuss...you need at least one vice, right?

That is one time I did miss it. As soon as the news unfolded I tried to log on to BBC News, but, not surprisingly, couldn't access the site.

I was listening to the radio in the garden as the towers collapsed, and fortunately my next-door neighbour arrived home at the time. She was oblivious as to what was happening in New York, and I broke the news to her. We went into her house and watched the repeated footage of the 767 smash through the WTC. Watching it over and over again was sickening, and after fifteen mintutes or so I'd had enough and was glad to get back out into the garden and listen to the radio, which was breaking the news quicker than TV.

Most people probably don't realise that radio is usually quicker at breaking the news than TV. It may lack the visuals, but you do get the news quicker, particularly during elections.

I've walked Omaha Beach at Normandy.

I've eaten dinner BETWEEN two continents (on man-made island on the Bosporus Strait between Europe and Asia in Turkey).

I love to play golf and used to be pretty good (much better than I am now) - I played for the high school state championship my sophomore year.

That's some of me in a nutshell.

Blackbird

What's the problem with being tall for a girl? Ok, you are probably a little taller than myself (at 1.80 meters, about 6"), but size doesn't matter, it is the proportions (from a purely physical point of view).
I have seen professional fashion models, they are all in your size range.

What matters more is the mind, btw., if you have a sense of humour, if you are caring, if you are intelligent (for me a woman can be as pretty as she wants, if she is stupid, I don't care about her) and if you have a mind of your own and know what you want.
I have met several very attactive women, who were taller than me (and I'm not a [email protected]).

I thought of a few more while typing the above ones, and then forgot them. Oh well. Guess they weren't that special.

That would be a terrarium, or a vivarium.

I don't care what it's called....the snake just better stay in it.

I write with my left hand, but use my right hand (side of the body) for just about everything else: eating, playing sports, etc. I can't do any of that with my left hand (side of the body) just like I can't write with my right hand. Strange.

Which, by definition, actually means you're left handed. The hand you write with is your dominant one. I do everything lefty except swing things (baseball bat, hockey stick, golf club). This stems from playing years and years of tennis with the backhand being on my right side.

I was on a cruise ship exactly one week before it sank leaving Athens

I had 2 hernias when I was a child that would not behvae as expected when operated on which resulted in certain parts of my anatomy being sewn to the inside of my legs for 1 week!

I used to have 20 facial and body piercings but now have none

I used to work in the mail order department that made and sold gay adult videos

You know I thought I was as well. Didn't eat one for almost 20 years until a few weeks ago I said "screw it" and had one. No problems, been having one daily since. Plus side, no more leg cramps. Go figure!

I can't climb stairs on flat feet, I have to be on my toes.

I can drink incredible amounts of liquor and not get sick (it's been about two years since I drink and am yet to get sick), and only get hangovers from beer.

I have this weird obsession with all things British. I will sometimes spell things on research papers in British English (favourite vs favorite, harbour vs harbor, aeroplane vs airplane). And here is where it gets embarrassing, when in London (which is my favourite city) I will sometimes pick up the English accent, although obviously not authentic and rather poor, and unintentionally address locals with my choppy English accent, and I swear I don't want to!

I stood in line behind Edward Norton in LAX waiting to cross Customs in TBIT.

My parents were both flight attendants but will not allow me to pursue that career.

Most of my friends are Arabs and I am not.
