Its that time of year again . Put your clocks back at 2am UK time. You get an extra hour in bed.
The arguements are also here again . Should we NOT change the clocks? Some people say it would be safer to leave them alone .

Hmm, safer, how so?
Easier definitely but I think governments are happy that right now they have a system in place that most of the countries agree with.

One argument I've heard is that during the middle of Winter it gets dark at around 3:30pm, when a lot of kids are walking home from school. Hardly safe to let them walk, potentially alone, in the dark.
I'd much rather leave it in BST. More people have the opportunity for outdoor leisure activities in the afternoon as apposed to the morning, so leaving them in BST will enable people to do things after work - with the obvious implications on fitness etc.

We don't have DST but we could do with it. Local LCC Kulula.com has been campaigning for DST for some time now.

I know someone that did not set their clock and came into work at Dublin airport an hour early !!! Bummer lol....

Except if you leave it at BST they will walk to school in darkness instead.
Plus the leisure time i the evenings is a moot point for anyone working full time on a 9-5, as it will soon be dark before 5 anyway.
No trees were harmed by this message. However, several million electrons were terribly inconvenienced

It seems easyjets passenger notification system wasnt prepared for the change - LHRjc was flyign easyjet yesterday at 6pm, he got text messages all day saying his flight had been rescheduled to 5pm... it left on-time at 6pm.

Have they arranged so all of Europe shifts on the same day now?
I have had colleagues from at least five different countries emailing me about their time change.
When i lived in the UK we always did our daylight saving on a different date than the rest of the EU.
Integration, integration and I dont even notice it. This one is actually a smart one too, must save british business some money.
