Quoting Sv7887 (Reply 8):
posted this in the last thread and was wondering about Pres Obama's Cabinet. Sec Def, Treasury, State, and CIA director. As for Hillary..I am not sure she'd want a slot in his Cabinet. |
Quoting Sv7887 (Reply 8): His political career is over |
Quoting Sunking737 (Reply 13): The Dems now control both houses and the Presidency. You haven't seen nothing yet. |
Quoting Herctech (Reply 20): Im willing to bet it will still be better than when the republicans controlled all three only a few years ago |
Quoting WestJetYQQ (Reply 6): ALL (Americans) HAIL PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!!! |
Quoting Klaus (Reply 19): You might not be able to imagine how good it feels to cheer for you and with you guys again! bigthumbsup champagne |
Quoting INNflight (Reply 11): Palin was hot |
Quoting Sunking737 (Reply 10): You screwed your selves. |
Quoting Sv7887 (Reply 23): You know I am a Conservative, but please enough of this. President Obama won fair and square. Let''s not rush to judge him. I want this country to succeed. I would have preferred a President McCain, but I want to see President Obama do well. If Obama fails, we all fail as Americans. I'll be praying for him. Good luck Mr. President |
Quoting RedFlyer (Reply 33): I'm a life-long Republican and I voted for McCain. And, yes, I was hoping McCain would win. Nevertheless, as an American, I can't help but feel an incredible amount of pride that my country, the greatest nation on the face of the Earth, has overcome so much of its past that it has elected a man such as Barack Hussein Obama as President. No matter what anyone's political stripes, this is an historic day. And no matter what Mr. Obama's political agenda, his election as President will do much good to overcome injustices, real or otherwise. God bless BHO! God bless the USA! |
Quoting RwSEA (Reply 17): I am proud to be American for the first time since 2003. |
Quoting EZEIZA (Reply 42):
Quoting Mike89406 (Reply 24): The DDR Republic of America in the Western Bloc Do you even know what that is? Have you ever been to a communist country? |
Quoting Mike89406 (Reply 24): The DDR Republic of America in the Western Bloc....... |
Quoting Mike89406 (Reply 45): Sheesh! Have a sense of humor Just being sarcastic. But really I hope he does the right thing |
Quoting Sunking737 (Reply 10): Better hold on tight folks this is going to be a wild ride the next four years, as we now have our first Socialist President. Your taxes are going up, and we will be in a deep recession. The Military budget will be cut almost in half, and you just wait we will have another 9-11 kind of attack. |
Quoting EZEIZA (Reply 49): Quoting Mike89406 (Reply 45): Sheesh! Have a sense of humor Just being sarcastic. But really I hope he does the right thing sorry, I took your quote only, but there were other similar ones. I might not appreciate your sarcasm, because I have been there and seen it, and it was not good. Let's all hope he does the right thing |
Quoting Ken777 (Reply 51): I'm not worried about Obama taking us into a deep recession - Bush/Cheney and the neo-cons have already done that for him. |
Quoting Ken777 (Reply 51): The military will get a cut as Obama wants to end spending $10 Billion a month on an Iraq war. He also wants Iraq to start using the billions they have in banks to pay for some of the things we are paying for today. I would also look for the $200 toilet seats to be cut from the budget, programs like the KC-X to be put on hold by updating the KC-135s that need it. |
Quoting Ken777 (Reply 51): The election is over. It's time to stop being focused on being a Republican or Democrat and to return our focus on simply being Americans. |
Quoting Ken777 (Reply 51): I believe that Obama will focus on bringing very good people into his Administration. We won't have Cheneys or Rumsfields around any more (with luck) and I believe that he will work hard to be a president for all Americans, not just the rich. |
