Happy B Day Time For A New Username

Sun Nov 09, 2008 12:41 am

Well today is my birthday of sorts. Two years with this username. Since I have changed jobs and no longer dispatch RJ's when the site asks me to cough up money tomorrow I will probably change my user name, again. Most likely DXing since that is what I will be doing for the foreseeable future. So so long RJdxer and hello to DXing. I expect that no matter how many times I mention this someone is going to accuse me of trying to hide behind a new user name. Don't know what else I can do but broadcast it via a thread.

If I can change your opinion, please don't do it. RJdxer is much cooler. I understand if you don't take my advice though. As my screen name shows, I'm a very original person  Silly

That's a shame, your username was one of the ones I could make into an actual word (Ridgedixer). DXing (Dixing) isn't quite as good.  Wink

Anyway, Happy Birthday (of sorts)  Smile

Gilligan and when I changed over to RJdxer a lot of people told me I should not have done that because it made no sense (RJdxer) to them. I'm just of the opinion that it ought to reflect something about me. I jumpseated in an RJ on the way back to IAH from the EDI meet and when I looked at the paperwork, even after the who knows how many I had done, I still had to think about where to find everything. Very strange.

Congrats on the B Day.
A UserID stays with most people over time.......especially when one is hidden behind a computer screen on a forum.
My UserID stuck one day & I use it on all forums.

This is why I use a universal non-sensical name. It can be applied toward anything.  Smile

I like your username too but it's up to you of course to change it or keep the old one.

And here I thought it was because you were universally non-sensical!  laughing   duck

At least through LRH and SXM. I would like to sit, have a drink, and hear what I'm sure you have, some very interesting travel stories.

As of tomorrow I will be DXing. Thanks for the comments.

Variety, in moderation, is the spice of life.

Done deal, I am now DXing. Thanks for the comments!

Shouldn't the title of this thread have the words "Self Gloss" somewhere in it?  Wink
