21 pax a.netters  Smile

That has to be some kind of record for this web site  Smile You'd better all be there, otherwise there'll be hell to pay...

Wonder if EI will have lounge access available for that flight...

Does anybody know if I will be earning AAdvantage miles on that fare, and if yes, how many?

Maybe we should get Demand Media to buy the rest of the seats and advertise a "charter" a.net flight. With cockpit access etc included  Wink

Anyone else have a flight log? It will be funny if the flight deck is flooded with flight logs.. they will be like WTF... that is if they too arnt a.netters!

Looking forward to it very much. Plus im getting a very cheap EI flight back to AMS the same evening. for 30 EUR or so.

Someone please give me visa advice, will i need a transit visa?

Regards

If you intend to apply for a visa to enter Ireland then I suggest you start doing it ASAP. Its not an easy task.

I seriously doubt it... I never earn any QF points on the low fare EI flights, though I sometimes earn BA points depending on what the fare class is...

It'd only be a hundred points if that anyway, so no big loss!

Just don't let me drive, ask Dan (PlymSpotter) what I do when there is a construction vehicle blocking the lane, on which side I pass it.

Seriously, don't let him drive! Even though he was commenting on my driving (and probably rightfully so on the Moldovan 'highways', it was him that got stopped by the police twice!

Is it really that bad? I am based in Holland right now and will be applying in the Hague.. i have a residence permit for holland + a UK Visa + a US Visa... it shouldnt be a problem.

Only confusion is that do i require a transit visa or a proper visa... transit is for 25 EUR and proper one is for 60 EUR.

Yes honest it is. I applied for one for my cousin to come from Guyana and I wanted to take her to London and Dublin. The British Embassy gave her one and I sponsored her but the Irish refused for no reason. I was taking full financial responsibility for her and she was staying at my house. In the end she came into BFS ( UK ) and we drove over the border as I was living in the Republic at the time. Another friend of mine actually got his Mother a visa for Ireland and on arrival was deported back within 2 hours for no reason without being allowed to see her family waiting the other side.

Im not sure to be honest. You may want to call the embassy and check first. They may think it weird what you are doing thats the only issue.

leaving home (I live in the Charleroi area, Belgium) around 4.30 am, arriving at Calais at 6.45. Then allow 1 hour to cross the channel (putting the car on an Eurotunnel shuttle train, I've already done that, count around 60 EUR return for the car including all its passengers). Around 7.45 in Folkestone, 11.45 am at CWL.

Mmmmh... For some reason I completely forgot about the time difference between England and continental Europe  Embarrassment

The quoted text should read :

Please let me know if you're interested as I'm going to book the Eurotunnel shuttle while the low fares are still there.

The more the merrier!

J is now full and the aircraft has 73 seats taken according to the seat map, which isn't too bad! Price is still 0.00 aka £18. I like how you can view the seat map to EI flights without booking... it's kinda cool!

For the return, I'm booked on the EI flight scheduled to land at CWL at 9.40 pm. I thought about (plan a) driving until I'm too tired, take a quick nap on a highway service area, then proceed directly through the tunnel and on to Belgium, or (plan b) take a cheap hotel around Cardiff or Bristol (but it seems that because of the match it will be difficult to find a room on that particular day), or even near London if I'm fit to drive until there, then drive back home the next morning.

I live in Cardiff and would offer you a room for the night, but will have relatives staying this weekend unfortunately. Sorry I can't help you!
