Go to Monaco. There are quite a few people who own them and not only Bentleys.
They have got whole fleets.
Maybe you will find a very generous owner who will give you one.

My boss has one. I will get you the keys.

On a side note, it hurts myself and my fellow employees when this bozo says it was a tough year and can't give raises and then he pulls up in one of these......

Agree to purchase from a dealer, lie about your income, secure a loan.

Don't pay. Claim you were duped into purchasing the car by the salesman and duped into believing you could afford the loan by the finance manager. They did everything but forge your signature, right??

Be sure to blame everyone but yourself for the situation. And tell everyone who will listen. Blame society for the focus on materialism. Blame speculators for driving up prices so much, so fast. Blame lawyers, blame bankers, blame neighbors who have more expensive and extravagant automobiles. Don't mention that people bought reasonably-priced used cars with cash (the suckers). But you can blame the financially responsible for reduced demand for the Bentley and the resulting increased margins and higher prices which make it even less affordable for you.

But you really want one.

Wait for your bailout.

Did he buy it during that "tough year"? If yes, he´s a nut, if not, whats wrong with it if he owns a sizable company, if its his money he bought it from?

I remember a parallel, were "the boss" really was an idiot as his car was bought directly from the pockets of his employees. My company back then had a few tough years, and a new boss was hired to manage the crisis. He abolished all gratifications, stopped all payrises etc. for years - for the normal employees alone of cause. He got an Aston Martin company car for this successful measure (seems the company had enough money left for really important things). We swore, if he would ever dare to come to the company with this symbol of shame, it wouldnt leave in the same colour. Somehow he got to know that, and was never seen with it, nor was he himself seen for very long afterwards...

He bought it in February. We are a small company (20-30 employees)...but he bought it as a COMPANY CAR!!!!!...

Look, obviously it is his company and he can piss money away whenever he wants. But don;t cry poverty and pull up in one of these or let people know that you fly in a private plane to vacation. Its just not tactful.

Agreed. The behaviour of your boss is not sensible at all. If a boss says there is no money, then there is no money, him included. Otherwise he sould shut his mouth.

Simple:

Lease a Bentley for $ 3000/mo. That's $100/day.

You can make $100 a night easily:

1. Spare time IT consulting
2. Bartending
3. Use some makeup and become a cocktail waitress.

You could also use the car as a limo and earn enough from rentals to cover the $3000/mo.

Thanks for all the replies Ladies and Gentlemen. All your responses are being evaluated as we speak.

I like Madame Concorde's idea, but I have no money for flights to Monaco either.

So here's what I am going to do

1) Go to a Bentley dealer and ask for a test drive.

2) A couple of days later call him and say I want to buy one with finance. (Finance company does a credit check and find no issues. They cant determine what my true state of finance is).

3) Acquire the Bentley. Post pics on A.net.

4) Pay the installments for a month.

5) Hide the Bentley. Claim bankruptcy.

6) Maybe go to jail for a few months.

7) But when I come out the Bentley is all mine.

Bentley actually does a lot of leasing and has some relatively excellent leasing yields. Some dealers - typically not authorized Bentley franchises - lease used Bentleys.

That's probably why I see so many Bentley Continentals on the street in Miami and L.A. - I literally see 2-4 a day. People lease them like crazy. I've seen deals for used ones as low as $1,599/mo

Ask ILS/FlightLevel to borrow one of his. I think he discounts those that have the interior by KIA option.

talktothehand  Why even one month? That'd still set u back about 3000 grand + insurance. So take it drive it around for 15 days and go bitch to the dealership that it didn't meet you expectations and return it. Repeat procedure for couple of dealers and to put cherry on the top... write to Benly headquarters and bithch and complain about how bad the service was how you are soured to buy a Bently again etc. etc.

Then file a lawsuite on Bently claiming mental anguish and foul experience. Win ... make tonds of money. Buy yourself a Benly.....and one for me to come up with the scheme

There's a dealer on eBay that has an open ended lease on an 07 GTC for like $1600 a month with 10% down. That's crazy cheap.
