Here is my get around. Very good for the environment, and only costs me a quid when I want to go for a ride somewhere, sometimes its free.

Skoda Fabia 1.4 16v 100bhp. Good fun to drive, surprisingly competent and composed on the motorway, and pretty comfortable too even with 4 people - 5's a bit of a squeeze but fine on shorter journeys. Mostly trouble-free with regard to maintenance, plus Skoda dealers are very good.

Hey, does the 3 series convertible have navigation? I've seen some that don't and I was just wondering if you pay that much for a car, I would hope it would come with navi.

Nav is an option. Aerobalance's car has Nav. Any 3 with the hump in the center of the dash has nav.

These are few older pictures of my 2006 Ford Taurus SE when I got it a few years ago. I love this car, I got a great deal for it and it's been great. I moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan since I got it, and it's been great driving in the snow. Everything is pretty much the same, but it has about 50K miles on it now, and it has Michigan license plates instead of Illinois ones.

My current car after some idiot drove into me totalling my Golf. It's the 1.9 diesel, but unfortunately only the SDI, not the TDI. It's very economical, but on the motorway it does lack sufficient power to quickly overtake. Still, a mayor step up from a 15 year old Gofl.

My current (and second) car is my beloved 2003 Land Rover Freelander ES. Absolute joy to drive (when it's working!) with a 2litre TD4 engine, which I'm told is the same engine in a diesel BMW 320. Loads of great features, all electric windows including the one on the rear swing door. And only a few days ago I found out it has a 6 CD changer hidden under the driver seat!

Love this car! But was a huge change when trading in a little Corsa for it.

Here are some from the dealers website that I saved...

(I've removed that cover for the spare wheel, it now looks identical to the other wheels, I prefer it much better that way).

And here's one I took myself while stumbling on a pebble! (Hence the blur)

I also have the S-line package on it, it's the right compromise between sporty/stiff and comfy. If I compare it to the GTI, it's a little softer, and you have to push on the gas pedal just a little bit harder to obtain the same acceleration even though it's the same engine and gearbox - it's calibrated differently.

Go the sparkling graphite, IMO the best colour on an E90, it's a pity BMW dropped the colour on the latest facelift.

The best I have managed on mine is 1200km, I have heard 1400km is possible but I don't think my right foot nor the terrible Norwegian roads would allow it.
