Business Idea From Japan - Cat Cafes

Mon Mar 02, 2009 3:41 pm

Pay the equivalent of five dollars, and you can spend an hour petting cats.

Jeez my wife would be there like a bear if we had something like that here. Mind you our 4 get enough affection so maybe not cos they would be jealous!

Here I was thinking it was this kind of "cat" cafe. Now this is one "cat" I would pet.

Went to one in Nagoya with my ex. All the cats seemed annoyed and tired of being around the customers. Kinda lame...

Doesn't surprise me, cats hate people as it is, no wonder they feel even more contempt for us when we basically prostitute them...  silly

Cheers

Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

It probably would make more sense to have dogs.

I kinda feel bad for the cats because Cats generally like their anti-social time, I mean, I guess they're not being misstreated atleast but You've gotta wonder if the cats will turn nasty after a while out of getting tired of the people...

I can do that for free here.... just go up to the local SPCA. They let you take out the cats and play with them. And these kittehs are usually happy for the attention.
