Who needs digital cameras?  Silly
For some reason, the prints have prematurely aged from that trip and I didn't use the best scanner. I have older prints that still look spectacular.
When I get film developed now, I make sure to get it put on CD as well. That way I don't have to bother scanning them in. Also, the photo size comes very large too.
I'll never get rid of my Canon 35mm.

Earlier today at Driftwood Beach in Barrio Barreto, Olongapo City, Philippines, over the beautiful waters of Subic Bay. I'm lovin' it in Paradise; a far cry from Huntsville, Alabama.

That is the Convair 990 parked at the entrance to Mojave, CA airport.

The double engine nacelle was a trademark of that a/c type.

That particular aircraft's engines tend to fill up with sand as it sits there in the desert.

I figured it out. Apparently the 990's engines used the fan stage at the rear, rather than at the front. So that explains the double-inlet.

The Army's growth has been impressive. Now you couldn't have 3 seats to yourself in 106, 107, or 108.

I really miss Portland. I've managed to get to one of the preseason matches and will probably jumpseat up to PDX for at least a couple of games this year.
