But your steering wheel is on the left...i.e. the wrong side. Which means the way we drive..with our steering on the right side (correct side) is the correct way. Thus whatever argument(s) you make is/are null and void

We choose the Machiavellian route; whatever allows us to do what's right, as in driving on the right side, leads to the ultimate good, even if it seems at the first wrong, so it is in fact right.

Thus, if having the steering wheel on the left, (or as it might seem at first to the uninformed, wrong), is in fact right because it allows us to do the correct thing which is drive on the right.

as we previously determined, neither right or left is correct. Smash them up and make a big pile of chocolate out of them. Then eat the pile.

I was going to do that, but greed got the better of me and I ended up troffing one whilst I was typing. Then I realised 10 minutes later that I stupidly placed the other one in direct sunlight (yes sun in Lancashire). Realising it had melted, I licked the other one therefore eating both in one go really.

If it takes your semi that long, I think your brakes are in serious need of adjustment, unless your talking about a rolling stop with no brake application.

Quoting Gkirk (Reply 72):

indeed - GKirk is actually correct for once!

Once apon-a-time, in a land far far away (europe) there were horses and knights and jousting. As the majority of people are left handed, even in medieval times, knights kept their swords on the left, so they could easily be reached by the right hand. When passing another horse, they would pass to the left of each other so their swords did not clash - and if needed they could be easily drawn and used.

Until one day Napoleon decided he hated everything british, so decided to be different, and ordered everyone to start riding on the right of roads instead. The americans also hated all things british, and decided they wanted to be different too, so they swapped all the 's' for z's, started spelling and pronouncing words wrong, and adopted napoleons system of driving on the right.

And that my friends, is a completely random fact for the day.

“I'm well aware of what we're scheduled to do tomorrow, Captain,” she responded with a Cheshire cat grin. She crawled slowly to the head of the bed she had been laying on and pulled back the covers. Turning back to him, she continued, “I plan on sleeping too, but I don't want to do it alone. You think you might be able to assist me with that?” She sank down underneath the covers, patting the empty side of the bed with her hand, indicating that he should join her.
