GM And Segway To Unveil Concept 2 Wheeler?

Tue Apr 07, 2009 1:54 am

GM and Segway plan to announce tomorrow they're working together to develop a two-wheeled, two-seat electric vehicle as part of the Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility or PUMA project.

Really? So its going to be an electric scooter? Since when did GM get into the moped/scooter business?

Put a GPS in that thing and I guess that's the end of the line for Rickshaw drivers in Asia. .

Since Obama took over G.M. This is what we'll all be driving if he has his way.  Smile

Too expensive and not enough range, 50 kilometers are not enough range to replace
most autorickshaws.
I saw a 4-wheel Segway on Discovery Channel, "future world", I wonder if that concept will
be successful?
