Shooting him will make it too easy for him. I say tie his balls to a bungee cord with other end tied to a high bridge....then push him off. That is all.

If you didnt see it you wouldnt believe it. Kudos to the guys that jumped up and held the guy. Similar things have happened in the UK and people just sit and watch.
The guy who held the attacker said he was ''praying for him'' !! He should have knocked him out. Any guy that pics on a vulnerable person needs a good kicking IMHO.

Though I doubt anything more than a negotiated plea agreement will be reached with the prosecutor, trained by his lawyer, he'll plead guilty, cry in the court, beg forgiveness and be let off with something amounting to a slap on the wrist. Justice done!!

This incident seems to just be the latest installment here of descriptions of havoc caused by mentally ill people. What then follows is a litany of grotesque ways in which people like this guy should be punished.
Sorry, but for almost 150 years in western society we have said that people who are mentally ill are not criminally responsible for their acts. I'm afraid we have to give this guy a pass too.
If there is any crime involved, it was probably in the failure to ascertain that guy's violent nature and then keep him in some kind of custody where he couldn't harm himself or others.
I really admire that guy who quickly made his way to the front of the bus to intervene - that was really fast thinking and acting. I think I would have been too stunned to act quickly, and you could only depend on me to be one of those helpers about 5-10 seconds later.

What we do is first sever his achilles tendon. Bet that would hurt considerably.

I think you just answered you're own question. Clearly this man has a mental issue and shouldn't be immediately banished.
People have no "issues" when it come to say, cancer, or heart disease. But when it comes to mental disease, we are so quick to banning them from society. To say this man should be shot is as wrong as what he did in the first place. He has issues. Treat them, then make a judgement if he shows no improvement.

Maybe the blind lady was a Cowboys fan, eh? Guess that would make it OK?
It's easy for me to say "If I'd have been on that bus...", but seriously had I been there, the video would have ended a lot more violently than the part that we saw. I kind of lose myself in those situations and am more prone to violence to defend others than myself. It's gotten me in trouble more than once.

Screw that! I am so sick of the general public having to deal with and be accosted by psychos like this. I have no patience/sympathy for the insane. They should be locked up and treated, or removed from the planet. I see people like this all the time in NY and I absolutely HATE them. Just today I was attacked by some deranged freak in front of the Queens Center Mall and had to seriously restrain myself to keep from beating the scrawny little [email protected]#cker to death.

Saw this on Japanese TV a while ago. Everyone in the audience seemed to cheer when the people came to the blind woman's rescue.
I asked my girlfriend "What if that happened in Japan?" The answer was basically, of course no one would help her. Doing so would be stupid. No one else's business except for the police.
