I've been lurking lately without posting anything of note here, so I might as well rejoin the fun/awkwardness/embarrassment of these threads. This is me at the beach with my favorite co worker, any guesses why I love hanging out with her?

And she's as smart and witty as she is sexy, though she has a boyfriend. Damn.

Here's a few taken over the last couple weeks while I was still in Eielson AFB in Fairbanks, Alaska for my Air Force ROTC summer program.

Me getting instruction on shooting the M-16, both in "single shot" and in "burst" mode. Fun times.

This particular day we were visiting the JAG Office at Eielson AFB where they put on a mock trial for us. Afterwards we got to mess around in the court room. Here I am (on the right) finding out if the other cadet ordered the "Code Red" (In reference to A Few Good Men, one of my favorite movies).

And here I am during our KC-135 flight watching the Boom Operator do his thing as refuel a C-17 from Elmendorf AFB.

Quoting DeltaT7 (Reply 7):

Well the rest of us don't even need to bother to post our pics. No one's going to scroll any further once they get to yours.  silly

Any pics from your internship with the Sox you can share?

Here's me in SFO a few weeks ago, at Fisherman's Wharf, posing with the Bush Man. He hides behind that bush and scares tourists! Luckily, my dad told me about him in advance. It was sorta cool! (Anyway, I was there because I'm on my road trip. For those of you in the know, check out my Facebook, or "Road Trip 2009" for more photos!  )

How was the show? Friday I connected in Seattle coming back from Fairbanks and we had to take an unusual departure route because the Blue Angels were doing a practice run. Wish I could have spotted them from the air but was unable.

I didn't make it down to Lake Washington as I wasn't up for the crowds. But they made a grand entrance right through downtown Seattle on Saturday and Sunday. They had practice on Friday and Saturday which I saw from work in downtown Bellevue. Just impressive, everytime I see them!

Drop me a note, I'd be happy to share some pics.

On G-BUSG (bit old for an A320!) LHR-HAM for the annual metal festival in the village of Wacken, where over three days the population of the area rises from 2,000 to 75,000. Upto 70 bands play for three days to an audience from around the world. It's a huge event on the worldwide metal music calendar!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v476/Toml/P1050325.jpg

I am at the window seat, next to a friend of mine who was also attending the festival and someone who also, by coincidence, happened to be going to the festival too!

Ironically, my ex girlfriend had a pretty large collection of snow globes, so that gift wouldn't have been lost on her, maybe I should have given her # to FLAIRPORT? For this one, a beer and a ticket to a football game would be more appropriate than flight tracking or even mentioning that I may sometimes go onto this sort of website!
