Local band, the drummer is a mate of mine. Absolutely fantastic song if you ask me. Just can't get tired of hearing it.

Thanks for linking me this song. Well, I'm a drummer, still in my beginnings (since 3 yrs) but never tried to play these kind of songs! It's hard and need more practice to speedup your hands.

Nice.  Smile I haven't played drums much, thought I've given it a go a couple of times, and I don't see how anyone can keep a rhythm at the tempo which is often played in heavy metal.

Now listening to:
Moonspell - Let the children cum to me.

Shattered (Turn the car around) - Of A Revolution
"In a way, I need a change
From this burnout scene
Another time, another town
Another everything
But it's always back to you

Stumble out, in the night
From the pouring rain
Made the block, sat and thought
There's more I need
It's always back to you

But I'm good without ya
Yeah, I'm good without you
Yeah, yeah, yeah

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Give me a break let me make my own pattern
All that it takes is some time but I'm shattered
I always turn the car around

I had no idea that the night
Would take so damn long
Took it out, on the street
While the rain still falls
Push me back to you

But I'm good without ya
Yeah, I'm good without you
Yeah, yeah, yeah

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Give me a break let me make my own pattern
All that it takes is some time but I'm shattered
I always turn the car around

Give it up, give it up, baby
Give it up, give it up, now
Now

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
All that I feel is the realness I'm faking
Taking my time but it's time that I'm wasting
Always turn the car around

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around

Don't wanna turn that car around
I gotta turn this thing around"

Next: '39 - Queen

"In the year of thirty-nine
Assembled here the volunteers
In the days when lands were few
Here the ship sailed out into the blue and sunny morn
The sweetest sight ever seen
And the night followed day
And the story tellers say
That the score brave souls inside
For many a lonely day
Sailed across the milky seas
Never looked back never feared never cried

Dont you hear my call
Though youre many years away
Dont you hear me calling you
Write your letters in the sand
For the day Ill take your hand
In the land that our grand-children knew

in the year of thirty-nine
Came a ship from the blue
The volunteers came home that day
And they bring good news
Of a world so newly born
Though their hearts so heavily weigh
For the earth is old and grey
Little darlin well away
But my love this cannot be
Oh so many years have gone
Though Im older than a year
Your mothers eyes from your eyes cry to me

Dont you hear my call
Though youre many years away
Dont you hear me calling you
Write your letters in the sand
For the day Ill take your hand
In the land that our grand-children knew

Dont you hear my call
Though youre many years away
Dont you hear me calling you
All your letters in the sand
Cannot heal me like your hand
For my life still ahead pity me"

Me and My band have working some REM jams lately . A good friend of mine died 2 weeks ago ...." Driver 8 " was one of his favorite songs, we learned it pretty quickly. We have added "To the One I love" and "Orange Crush" . Good fun easy jams...

So I have been listening to REM ... and some Queens of the Stoneage , Arctic Monkeys ... etc..
