I'm the dish washer at our house. I was getting a lot of hassle from the rinser/quality control person I'm married to until I put a framed copy of this picture above the sink. Now, when she's criticizing my work I just nod towards this photo!

( I remember when my mother took this photo. I really did do dishes when I was six but this photo was posed. It was uncomfortable on the shins to be working like this.)

1986 or something... I was 7 and forgot to tell my mum there was a class picture taken, hence the uncut hair and an old sweater... my mum nearly got a heart attack when she saw the picture. It took her around 20 years, but now she can laugh about it Wink

Strangely enough, I bumped into the cousin whose wedding that was taken at just this afternoon. It was the first time I'd seen him for over three years - spooky!

I always made it a point to "forget" to tell my mother about school pictures - otherwise I would be given a "decent" haircut and be dressed up "nicely" which was usually good for receiving about a weeks worth of bullying Sad

This is me at age 6 months or so, with Rona (my mum) on the left and Peter (my dad) on the right. I had to take it with my camera since the scanner wouldn't work and I can't be arsed going to the garage to find the box with the other printer/scanner in it.

And this is me on my first day of school. I look like my Grandad complete with school tie and blue cardigan Smile

I vaguely remember taking this photo. This was taken in early 1977 on Lake Michigan at Marquette Beach in Gary, Indiana.
We had a very cold winter that year and the lake iced up, well most of it did.

I posted this one before.
Anyone who grew up in the greater Chicagoland area in the 1970s would remember Bozo Circus.
