I have just purchased stock in your fine airline

I have tweaked my stock holdings a bit and have managed to free up just under 5K shares and have invested them all in your quite nifty firm.

In other WhineAir news we have started a KBUF-YYZ route with a AS.57 Ambassador to arrange for the delivery of a steady supply of Humpty Dumpty Ketchup Chips to a nameless WhineAir CEO, Similar flights with proper combi-aircraft will be set up to make flights to obtain mass quantities of Putinka vodka and Tang directly from their respective manufacturing plants.

In other news the well thought out fleet/route expansion and frugal (errr cheap) work of our CFO (me) has resulted in our cash on hand to grow to just an aforementioned ketchup chip's thickness under $200 million. This morning's profits are $19 million though a busy afternoon will slow profits for the second half of this day

WhineAir with regret announce that there is a delay in awarding the toilet paper tender as the customer service focus team is deadlocked in making a decision between single ply and two ply. It looks like I will have to make an executive decision and make the choice some time this evening. (I may have to split the tender with two ply going into F and single ply going into Y.

Vega9000 Airlines

We are pleased to announce that due to our agressive expansion plans, we have reached 41 Planes/Routes, all short and middle haul. Our fleet now consists of:

10 x BAe146 (totaling 40 engines!)
10 x A321-200
8 x MD88
6 x ERJ190-200
5 x MD81
1 x MD80
1 x MD90-30

Our expansion has been, as usual, concentrated mostly in Europe, Middle-East and Africa from our LIS hub, although one route was open to Puerto Rico, streching the A321 to it's limits.
As further short and medium routes are becoming difficult to come by, we are going to concentrate on saving enough money to buy a A330-300 (for real this time, we promise) and inaugurate the first long-haul route, probably to Brazil, putting us head-to-head with TP.

Our stock is now at 2.33 (up from 1.69 two days ago).

Our current route map:

Don't believe anything you read on the net. Except this. Well, including this, I suppose.

I like it. It's a big improvemrnt over the straight lines. The map still needs improvement though. The lines for transpacific flights should go to the edge of the screen and pick up on the other side. Also ANC shows on the map where YVR is and AMA is shown as being in the middle of South Dakota, SFO is in LAX, and FAT is in SMF. I hope they fix that.

The more expensive meals sell much better than the cheap ones. I normally use Sky Catering in the morning, then when I run out, I will get a smaller order from Sky Fish or Fast Food Catering for the evening flights. Don't waste your time with AM Catering or Cloud Chef.

Yep.. That's normal.. The other day, I stocked up my fuel to 999,999,999 Lbs and my stock rate dropped by 4 USD. But as you will not need fuel for a good while, you will see a healthy increase in the next few days...

Quoting RGElectra80 (Reply 114):

I do not bother buying meals anymore... They just don't bring much money... With my current fleet, I make around 300,000,000 USD per day so the few thousand meals bring, doesn't do me much...

On a side note, I just realized that my stock value went from 59 USD to 110 USD in less than 2 weeks.. I am pretty sure that it will be over 200 in 2-3 weeks if not less...

If you have the cash and looking for an investment, I would say Think Global Airlines would be a very smart investment if you don't mind the name  Smile

Account: $ 800,292,779 (waiting to make more than 1 billion for the pax points)

Company Value: $ 1,133,079,446

Fleet / Routes: 198 / 198

Fuel: 966,497,439 Lbs

Stock Value: $113.31

Current Fleet: (I believe the largest in A.net)

3 - 747-400
2 - 380-800
27 - 330-300
125 - 787-800

Newly updated route map for Crescent World Airlines (CWA):

* Company value approaching $77 million
* Stock approaching $8/share
* Now operating 65 airplanes

New route highlights:

MSY-HKG/SYD/JNB with B787-8
MSY-FRA with B747-100 (to get the 747 achievement...and oddly enough I'm making a killing with that flight)
AMS-JNB with B787-8
DXB-SYD with B787-8
SYD-SIN with B757-300

I'm making a little experiment: replacing B757-300 with A321s on routes up to 6000km. Saves fuel, the 23 pax less doesn't make much difference. It's 10 lbs vs 15 lbs per km.

Codeshare,

Let us know how it goes. The only problem with the game is that the demand percentage is based on the total seats of the plane not the amount of people available for that route. So no matter how low the demand is you will never get a full plane if you were to replace an A380 with an A320.

That's where advertising comes in. I have a few 85%-ish routes that fly full but are billboard advertised.
The switch is working well.
True there are some glitches like a B777-200 has more capacity than a 777-300, or some prices of a/c are inadequate.

I'm being hit by a lot of maintenance faults this weekend, but have managed to reach both my targets for Monday morning by Sunday evening.

Slapper International will be holding back on expansion for a while and after having investigated a number of different types will be rationalising it's fleet over the period until Christmas whilst looking for a new airports to be added and to reach a $4 share price.

I will be concentrating on the S34, AT7, 190 and 320 for the short-haul fleet and the 332 for the long haul fleet for the time being. The S34 will probably eventually be phased out as well, when I have finished my analysis of how demand alters.

One route will be added tomorrow - BHX-AUH on a new 332.

I actually prefer IL-96-400 for routes under 10000km. It costs less, has 100 more pax, but it uses 10lb/km more. In long run you still make good money from that plane.

Well, I've decided to drop my ATRs and start transitioning short to medium range routes with EMBs 190s. I'm getting to the point where the $50-75k I was making from the ATR routes are just not enough to justify ownership. I think my goal will be to operate EMB 190-100/200s, MD80s and Boeing widebodies.

Actually, buying 5 days of advertising is wasting money, since it will be at 5000 again on Thursday. The best plan is: buy 3 days on Mondays, and 4 days on Thursdays. This way, it always comes up for renewal when the billboards are cheapest.
Don't believe anything you read on the net. Except this. Well, including this, I suppose.

FirstWorld Airlines is pleased to announce new service from Chicago Midway (Loop) to LGB utilizing newly purchased B737-600 equipment. Initial results indicate this will be a highly profiltable route.

FirstWorld also annouced today that it has suspended its service to Sioux City, and began new ATR72-200 service from Chicago Midway (Loop) to Minneapolis. The new Minneapolis service has proven to be more profitable than the Sioux City route.  bigthumbsup

Zippy faints, stirs and starts counting the virtual profit of $ 3,616,844 from your wonderful profit making skills

WhineAir sadly announces several maintenance as it appears Zeb and Zoey Chimp chartered a few planes and the resulting parties though legendary caused $240,000.00 in damages to our elite fleet (OK they really just needed their C-checks but the family fun flight fracas sounds so much more intriguing.

In today's business WhineAir had profits of nearly $50 million and added several rather nice flights and aircraft. future plans include direct flights to the US Tang production plant city and to Moscow for ready access to the Putinka vodka plant. The current cash on hand is $241 million with a value of $62 million. The value should increase once we add the above mentione flights and other high yield routes

Real world family issues may slow the growth of WhineAir over the next day or two. but I will try to keep as many flights running as time permits. Things should be back to somewhat normal status late Tuesday

Southeastern Virginia (SEVA) Airlines announces the purchase of it's 100th aircraft, a Boeing 747-400, which will be utilized on it's 100th route from Norfolk, Virginia to Sydney, Australia. This becomes SEVA's flagship route. This is a very proud moment for SEVA of this milestone accomplishment.
