So, we have the best movies of the decade but what about TV? Here are mine (I've tried to limit this to shows that started in the 2000s, but you can include ones that started in other decades and run until now if you wish)

Yes, Deb (not DeeDee!) never got to see Dexter's laboratory in the Showtime series ... although Deb was considerably prettier (although more foul-mouthed!) than Dee-dee!

Absolutely! Just watching Series 5 on DVD at the moment; it's just terrific. No one can do snobbishness and make it rib-ticklingly funny like Frasier (and Niles - particularly!)

Six Feet Under had quite an effect on me - probably my favourite show of all to date.

The Office...but this depends. That time there when it became total chick-show with Jim and Pam being the only story line got very old, very fast and I stopped watching. It's getting better again...
The Daily Show was good but I stopped watching when all they did was pick on Republicans. I'm no Repub, but it just got really, really annoying. They really started to show their true colors around mid-2008

Give Jon another try... he's actually pretty harsh on Obama and the Democrats. I was actually surprised after last year and his very anti-Republican campaign coverage. And like you, I'm no Republican either.

- Actually it was a fabulous show, but it was a spin-off of sorts from another fantastic 30 minute Sit/Com called "Cheers" but that was a couple decades ago now

There are some people out there that think the magic they pull off during their 60 minute show (that is actually only about 40 minutes of programming) is real and then call 911 telling police officers that, "You'll need the 'CSI Team' on this incident." Don't believe me, go to any mid-sized city's police department and ask them about the people that call in and ask the dumbest questions and it stems from watching these ficticious shows. OK, off my soap box now.

- For my time, "ESPN's SportsCenter." Knowledgable and entertaining. Usually not a waste of time. And anything that is not "Reality Television."
