Had high expectations for it, some people were putting it in the same league as space odyssey 2001, but nope, not even close. I'd only recommend it to hard core sci-fi buffs

I watched "Everybody's fine" a couple of days ago with actors like Robert de Niro, Drew Berrymore and Kate Beckinsale.. I was expecting a comedy but the movie turned out to be a drama... OK to watch but not much to write home about...

No, they're not pornos at all. In fact the movie Superchick is a movie every airline enthusiast should have in their collection.
Superchick is a female stewardess that has a dude in 3 different cities and they all want to marry her. I don't want to give away the plot too much in case you watch it. Lot's of cool cars in that movie as well as scenes with 707s and 747-100s.
The main character (Joyce Jillson) would later become President Reagan's personal astrologist in real life.

Delinquent Schoolgirls isn't a porno either.

Just saw 'Nurse Betty' on TV last night....it has certainly aged (they don't show cell phones) and it wasn't the bittersweet rom-com I was expecting it to be (I didn't know what it was about). It was more of a dark comedy, but was very weird as well. But I'm a huge Renee fan, it's probably the only film of hers I hadn't seen. And she was great, as expected. She won a GG for it.

The last recent movie I've seen is 'Precious'-it's very gritty and difficult. But Mo'nique is amazing...she deserves Best Supporting Actress.

Watched "The Godfather Part II" for the umpteenth time, however the first time unedited and on Blu-Ray. I bought both "The Godfather" and "The Godfather Part II" on Blu-Ray yesterday, the "Sapphire Edition", whatever the heck that means.

I'm the exact opposite. I didn't so much appreciate it the first time I watched it, but it's just gotten better and better with repeated viewings.

Just enjoyed From Paris With Love, a new Travolta action flick. This despicable and revoting movie consists of ultraviolent executions and deaths without any rhyme or reason, set to a comedy beat. A film that should be banned. It combines comedy with extralegal massacreing of any party that makes Americans feel insecure (such as Chinese and middle eastern people). The irony of which being, the movie takes place in France. The vulgarity of this movie was deeply unfunny. It was kInd of like wallowing in the imagery of child rape, in graphic detail, and portraying it as funny. Except this was just casually killing people for no reason, and then laughing about it. Ha ha ha.

I am with you on that. Pulp Fiction and all other Qunten Tarrantino fils are so over-rated.
The first time I saw Pulp Fiction, I fell asleep. The 2nd. & 3rd. times the movie just seemed dumber and dumer. I just don't get what the appeal is about that movie or anything else he has done.

There's times where I wished he'd do another film based on source material written by someone else. Although the rumors that he's keen on remaking "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" have me worried. That's a classic B-movie that doesn't need to be remade.

I think that was her worse movie.
You should check out Coffy and Foxy Brown.
In Foxy Brown, she pilots a small aircraft and slices up a mobster with tthe blade of the rotating engine.
She was a real badass and very sexy too.

I've seen them all. None of them did anything for me. I guess I just don't like his style. It seems like he'll include violent scenes just for the sake of having a violent scene. I am not against violence or anything but in his films, they're just gratuitous.

I don't think it sucked, actually i liked it. It's no Oscar film for sure but it entertained my wife and i last night and we we not unhappy about spending $5 to rent it.
