Aer Eireann were originally not going to update the world on progress until tomorrow evening however we thought do it today instead, today is 5 weeks since we began operations! Today Aer Eireann acquired 3 new aircraft and retired one from service (DHC-8 Q300). An ATR 72-600 has been drafted in to replace the older Dash-8C on the BHD-ORK routing. A new routing was added due to a high demand and promises to be extremely profitable for us, BHD/DUB - PMO. Each flight will operate 2x daily and if loads are favourable will bring in just short of $1m profit a day for the airline!

Tomorrow evening Aer Eireann will take delivery of yet another aircraft EI-BOA a B737-700 to operate DUB-TFS daily and sometime later in the week it will be joined by EI-BOB to fly BFS-TFS (BHD not having a long enough runway for a B737-700 full of fuel and pax to take off safely). Anyway another update will come probably Friday.

Well it has been a little while since Aer Eireann last updated the world on business progress. This week we have take delivery of our first 4 B737-700s serving their destinations 1x daily. During the first half of the week the airline had no advertising campaigns active due to the never ending astronomical price of advertising and consequently our profits did suffer. However on Wednesday afternoon a deal was struck for cheap advertising on all routes flying. Objectives for next week are to purchase 2 E195LRs to serve CAG from DUB/BHD then to purchase 2 B737-700s to serve LCA from DUB/BFS. Further plans to be unveiled in due course, next update may be next week sometime, probably midweek.

The only downside: It delayed our EIS of D-ABUC for SJO-CDG, but on the bright side, we've got rid of all CRJs. Perhaps I may even decide to delay the rest of the fleet for the third 787.

DRH Airlines is today starting to get rid of its Mixed long haul fleet of 75 76 and 340 aircraft, and going over to larger capacity 787-800 aircraft. 9 were purchased today, with 12 more on order due for delivery shortly. 3 new 320s were also purchased today to start new euro routes out of MAN, as well as a 321 which replaced the 1 remaining 318 to increase capacity. More will shortly come into the airline once the route network is looked at.

Our narrowbody replacement is proceeding great. The only problem is that fuel prices have been pretty damn high for quite a while. We're close to getting rid of all Embraers, followed by the ATRs.

Okay, so let me get this straight. When I get to 400 routes, I'll use pax bonus and get 450. I'll subsequently have 450 routes and 450 airplanes. But I can't put two airplanes on one route without making my number of routes flown go up? Why do people have 1200 A380's? Are 750 of them just parked?

HIA is proud to announce an order for 772ER's to upgrade existing capacity and replace A343E a/c. At the same time, we will go from a 60 752 to 50 for domestic routes. The A333's that are free from upgrades will go to domestic services from MCO on trans cons while the 752's will handle trans cons will go to ORD. All 752's that are on Trans Atlantic routes will be withdrawn and replaced with A333's.

WhineAir is as happy as a cougar in a rabbit store to announce that our petty cash has grown to just a wee bit over $ 3 billion ( $3,006,124,552.00 to be exact). As a result Zippy had to break down and purchase a slightly larger petty cash drawer. The new drawer is not too large and not the least bit gaudy.

WhineAir is petitioning Am to allow unlimited fleet and route numbers. Zippy had a compulsion (and a pheo) to blow the entire $ 3 billion and purchase 3 690 Dassault Mercures. This of course would make Dassault quite happy as there were only about 12 produced in the real world and another 3,678 units would pad their profits.. Lucky for the shareholders that Zippy's Putinka induced random thoughts dissipated and a batch of A380 will be added to the 26 in our fleet.

WhineAir still has the ability to purchase a tidy sum of stocks in deserving firms (witty satirical artwork has been know to induce a frenzy of stock purchases

I had some interesting find on AM to share with everyone.
Dublin - Donegal = 6995km (which takes about 8h 45 to do the route) for those who live in Ireland knows that if you drive from the most northerly point to the most southerly point in Ireland is roughly around 1000km.

Dublin - Wilkes Land = 2494km (Wilkes Land is Australia) why do we need to travel for almost two days on a plane to reach Australia. Its just 3 hours on AM!

Adelaide - Wilkes Land = 18955km ( anyone heard of a dosmetic this far? ) In AM this is possible! I think I have this route

If anyone who doesn't want to mess up their map with all the long white lines, just use Wilkes Land for all your flights departing Australia. Nice and Short! All Wilkes Land to Australia flights are 18000+ km, perfect for your A380's

I have decided that from now on Aer Eireann will update the shareholders at airliners.net on proceedings only once a week and that will be on Friday evenings (GMT). Last weekend's business was hampered by a visit that I had to make to the land of the Geordies (Newcastle) therefore was not able to get as many flights out as I would normally. However business was good enough for us to introduce 5 new destinations to our route network this week: CAG, LCA, KRK, NUE and MUC. The latter 3 were a temporary move from typical holiday spots to move into the city break market, there will be more 'city break' destinations in due course from Aer Eireann possibly Belgrade, Sarajevo, Milan and some others, all just speculation at the moment. Finally on Thursday morning we finally broke through the $1 stock price and in less that 48 hours our stock price has risen 13c, quite impressed!

Anyway, plans until next Friday are: Monday, introduce DLM and AYT from both DUB and BFS and then on Wednsday (St Patrick's day) we will have a special update to announce 4 new extra special routes from BHD. Give you a clue, 4 A318s have been ordered from Airbus and they are to have their full ranges stretched.

HIA has purchased two 772ER a/c with RR engines to create more of a diversified fleet. Heres the fleet by engines:

HIA announces four 772ER's will be based at MCO for flights to Asia. We have closed our NRT hub and opened one at HND. Also we have opened a new flight between Suriname and AMS that is operated with a A333. Here are our focus cities and hubs:

European: BRU focus city
Asian: HND focus city
N. American: ORD Hub
MCO focus city
S. American Paramaribo focus city

HIA announces the retirement of its A332's. HIA will replace them with 772ER's. HIA will power them with a combo of GE and RR engines.

HIA took delivery of a MD11ER for the ORD- Suriname route. While it is a short route for the MD11, the route is valuable with the upcoming expansion of our Suriname focus city.

The 737-100's have been mostly phased out, replaced by -700's, but I'm keeping a couple around for a while because I want a really long aircraft type list when I post on here.

I have routes from Houston to almost every American city and fly to several Mexican destinations, mostly using Embraers. Latin and South American expansion is on the dime of 737-800's and good ole 757's, with farther destinations being the responsiblity of the 767-300. Newark continues to be neglected, with routes to 40 US cities thanks to the Douglas designs and the 767-200's and 747's ply a limited number of European routes. My first 777 begins the finalization of my Texas route network, marking international expansion.

I still have stock available. And remember, I may not be number 1, but I am 60,164.

We're happy to announce that our fleet replacement programme (swapping E-190, ATR 42 and CRJ 100 with Boeing 737-800, -700 and -600 respectively) has concluded successfully. DRH airlines have today sold their last A340 after it was replaced by a new 787-800 as part of our long haul fleet renewal.

We only have 1 767 and 1 757 left which are being replaced shortly.
We are looking at moving over to Airbus short haul aircraft on the routes currently flown using our Dash 8 Q400 aircraft, and upgrading A320s to larger A321s on popular routes across our European network.

Once our Long Haul and European fleet is sorted, it will be time to look at our other operations in the Americas, Asia, and the Pacific region, increase the Schedule and look at aircraft types.

With a bit of sadness WhineAir announces that our petty cash slush fund has dipped to exactly $3,034,463,053. This is due to Zippy splurging on a special value three pack of slightly dusty A380s to our fleet. tomorrow we will add our 30th A380 to our fleet and thus we will meet our target number for this type.

WhineAir plans on padding the above mentioned petty cash slush fund for a few days before going on a rather nifty fleet expansion. In a Putinka vodka and Tang induced spat of inspiration WhineAir is pleased to announce that we will be adding 10-12 highly polished B787-8s daily until either the planes or the vodka runs out.

WhineAir expects this fleet expansion to have a way cool effect on our company value. At this time we have daily profits of roughly $ 240- $265 million/day so the planned fleet expansion will not deplete our cash on hand.

Pan-Siberian Airlines has a different problem. Petty cash is low, very low - less than 100 million. But, that is because we are nearly at 100 A380 types and the airline has a compulsive shopping problem, meaning that the temptation to buy aircraft always overtakes the desire to accumulate a decent bank balance. Grrr!

HIA will begin taking delivery of two 773LR jets to replace two 744ER jets. Also we opened two new routes from Suriname: SNN with the MD11ER and CHC with the 772ER. In addition new services to CHC and PVG was started via MCO and LAX.

Well lucky for me you know how to run an airline as your stock is now at $ 429.07/share which is quite nifty as I paid $ 0.32/share!. A tidy profit indeed.
