It's an A319, G-EZIV.

Thanks Jordan!   Know we can test to see if it is actually this aircraft.

Depending on which seatmap site you believe, SeatGuru in my case, the B744 (high J config) will have a maximum capacity of 177 Y seats.

Conversely, the domestic A321 trumps it with 188. Perhaps this is BAs get out clause if a B744 is unavailable.

Only someone with access will be able to obviously view exact figures.. but its selling up.

So will there only be pax in Economy Class ? Wont that mess up the balance ?

Can we only choose our seats when checking in online 24 hours before hand ?

I'm not technically minded enough to know I'm afraid.. all I know is that the premium cabins (WT+, Business, Club World) will be off limits to general passengers.

Quoting SAA738 (Reply 56):

You can still reserve them by calling BA and paying the £10.00 fee. Its not possible online, because the system is allocating premium seats (ie; WT+, Business and Club World) as if it would on a usual domestic flight.. from 1A back.

What time does check-in close for BA domestic flights out of NCL?
Quoting sean377 (Reply 45):
If I've previously checked in online, what's the latest I can go back through security for boarding?

Check-in closes about 20mins before departure but if you've checked in online and printed your boarding card at LHR you can just go straight back through security.
I belive you can now pay for fast-track at NCL as well, don't know how or where you pay for it though.

Last time I looked there were 166 seats sold so still enough sold where they could replace it with an A321  Wow!

£10, wow, I'm not paying that   ! So the people that arrive at NCL early will be the ones who get to sit where they want, as they can ask the man/woman at the check-in desk to, for example, give them a window seat ?

Yes, or you can use online check-in within the 24 hours up to the scheduled departure time, or from 25th July at 12:30GMT.

Ok ladies and gents, I just need to ask a question, that I was also asked tonight.

Where will those who are flying South, going to be meeting? Departures? On-Board?

I would also like to propose an idea that we attempt to get a few pictures of us all as a group, on board. Maybe have one of the crew do it for us, unless someone who is photo shy from the group would rather take a picture.?

Sounds good to me. Btw, I'm not sure how I'm getting to BRS. The reason I'm not flying up to NCL the day before is that I've got a family party on the Sunday, but I'm hoping my Godfather is driving back to London, so I may be avoiding the coach up.

Just over a week now!

Ditto. It'll be my fifth overnight in BRS - joy! Worst case is that I get there at about 02:30. I'd like to avoid the coach, as it does a tour of Torbay, and the Riviera in general.

Hi Dan, yes, i was on the Lan Chile Madrid to Frankfurt trip, Milau Bridge view etc.
Be good to see you again, and also Bev who travelled on the Germany trip.

The take off roll should be quite impressive, a half empty jet with a fraction of fuel aboard compared to its take off weight when flying to Bangkok etc.

Well, with just over 48 hours to go until we start, who's getting excited?

I've just got LGW-HER-LGW today and then a cheeky little standby to survive tomorrow, and then it's time to rock and roll!

The EK 77W leaves 65 minutes after us, so anyone who's doing it both ways should be able to get through arrivals and back through departures in plenty time, especially since we're arriving as domestic therefore wouldn't have to mingle with the arriving EK passengers

Still trying to decide on an outfit, but I think I've chosen a winner....

OK, check in is now open, WT+ cabin available to book in, which is something. I'm in 28J, not a window seat per se, but a pretty good seat. Not many window seats left looking at the seat map.

Just chose the second to last window seat available

Which of these should it be :

Hello,

I'm checked in. My seat is 43A, which I chose purely for it's location.

Anyway, see you all in NCL tomorrow.
