Of course!

Oh yes, Beer is cold and the couch is prepared! Let´s get it started!!!!

I'll leave my office in an hour, then I have to pay the beverage store a visit, then I have to put all the stuff I bought into the fridge, then I have to say "Bye" to my girlfriend when she leaves for her volleyball training, and then I have to press 3-0-1 on my remote control before enjoying the season opening games of the 2. and 1. Bundesliga. Everyone who dares to disturb me by phone or the doorbell will get shot on the spot!

Let's hope for a great new season with many goals, exciting games, and great stadium atmosphere! Bring on Bundesliga season 2010/2011!

The results from 2. Bundesliga games:

Alemannia Aachen - 1. FC Union Berlin: 2 : 2
Hertha BSC - RW Oberhausen: 3 : 2
FSV Frankfurt - DSC Arminia Bielefeld: 2 : 1

Watching the Konferenz was a pleasure tonight, not less than 12 goals in three games!

Now it's time for the 1. Bundesliga! Bayern vs. Wolfsburg or Champion 2009/2010 vs. Chapion 2008/2009. I hope for a thrilling game with many goals!

So, it appears the "Dusel-Bayern" are ready to go this season, right  ?

Quite a good start to the season, with a beautiful goal by Müller, and a VfL that obviously believed the season to be starting at 21:30 and not 20:30.

You could see that Misimovic changed Wolfsburg's game completely. The became a completely different team after he came in.

As for Misimovic, he was at a Liga-total a few minutes ago, it was like this:

Reporter: "Will you continue to play at Wolfsburg?"
Misimovic: "No clue, I don't know what is tomorrow, how should I know what is in two weeks?"
Reporter: "Does Schalke still want to buy you?"
Misimovic: "No clue, ask Schalke!".

I would say that he will play for the blue-white scum shortly.

And we have the first Eklat of the Saison: Martin Demichelis refused to go to the bench, and according to Sky, he asked van Gaal to take him out of the Kader, and could be on the way out.

I really don't know why van Gaal waited so long to give him the boot, but I do think Micho just outright sucked last season, as many others said. There have been many errors caused by him, including when he played for Maradona and Argentina in South Africa. You have to admit: The Tulpengeneral aka Feierbiest is konsequent, just remember how David Alaba almost disappeared after his terrible errors in one match.

Ridiculous behavior of him! He want's to leave, what else?

By the way, earlier tonight it was an "Eklat", now it is already a "Skandal" when it comes to the Bild.

Nice start for the Bundesliga! Lucky goal in the end with me believing that Ribery is way to Eigensinnig. I was a bit surprised that Kroos was in the starting lineup.

What a bitch Demichelis is.....Van Gaal will have his reasons.

Excatly! However Alaba got his chance again already this season AND he is only 18.

Also McLaren ( is this his name     ) is also a bit Gewoenungsbeduerftig as he jumps around like a Kangaroo on speed!

Great start into the new season for the FSV. In the first half we showed a very good game but lost control of the game in the second half. Boysen was pretty pissed after the game because of the bad second half.    I think the expectations are rising to high just after 1 1/2 good halftimes. Will see in the next games what the team is able to achieve.

I´m afraid you are right. I think that's why Wolfsburg did not start with him. They wanted to test where they stand without him. I would say nowhere!

Isn't the first time Demichelis was a b!tch. 2 years or so ago Hitzfeld through him out of the team after Demichelis didn't want to play the 6er against Cottbus, so Hitzfeld told him to go f' himself.

And like you said, he is always good for at least one catastropic mistake per game, so him not playing is a blessing in disguise. And with van Gaal still wanting to reduce the roster by 4 players, it seems he has found the first one to go. Good riddance to him. He had one good season 4 or 5 years ago, but ever since then he sucked.

And now 1. Liga Konferenz, later then my friends from Gelsenkirchen vs. the HSV.

Fits perfect, Offenbach kicked the VfL Bochum out, now it's time that Offenbach get their ass kicked by the BVB.

You know, I never miss the Sportstudio (only when I am on vacation in a foreign country). I am well known among my friends for appearing at a party after the Sportstudio! It is by far my most favorite show on TV and I try to never miss it, especially not on Bundesliga matchdays!

The talk with Stani about Pauli and the stadium is friggin' interesting! Not the usual "Blah, blah" but rather something interesting: Bundesliga and commerce... I am glad that Pauli is a club which is trying to make it not too commercial!

Very interesting draws for the DFB Pokal.

It will cause some serious scheduling problems in the Rhein Main Region as currently only two day planed for the games.

K.Offenbach - BVB
Eintracht - HSV
FSV - S04

I do not think they can have the Offenbach and the FSV game on one day but neither can they have the K.Offenbach and the Eintracht game on the same day. And definitely not the two Frankfurt games!

Hopefully we will play our game at the Hang because of the planed refurbishment of our Haupttribüne.

Could be the case that they need to have an extra day for the teams from the Rhein Main region.

I think that should not be a big problem. I remember the second last matchday of the Bundesliga season 2008/2009, there was the BVB-S04 game in Dortmund (over 80.000 fans), the VfL-VfB game in Bochum (over 30.000 fans) and the Asirena in Gesindelkirchen (over 40.000 fans) was open for public viewing. They had enough police and security staff for all three stadiums, the only problem was that the A40 became a parking lot, we arrived shortly before kick-off in the Ruhrstadion.

Quoting FRACO7X (Reply 20):

It would be a shame when the game wouldn't be at the Hang, several thousands more Gesindelkirchener would be able to attend the game when it would be played in the Waldstadion, that would IMO be a major disadvantage for the FSV.

Quoting FRACO7X (Reply 20):

Not only we. Myself and the BVB will have a major relationship problem then! They will find my and my girlfriend's season ticket in their mailbox on the next morning.

Good that I switched away when the Liga-total dude said something like: "Willkommen im Liga-total Interview, Felix Magath" yesterday evening after the game.

Something was today... let me think... oh yes, I am going to the Westfalenstadion today.    Two games in just four days, that's how it should be!

See it this way: The Bundesliga has been a smashing success since it first started in 1963.

Back to more serious issues: http://www.sport1.de/de/fussball/fus...all_bundesliga/artikel_278213.html

Benedikt Pliquett, along with a few St. Pauli-Fans, has been attacked by a group of so-called HSV-Fans at Bahnhof Altona. Both HSV and St. Pauli have condemned this attack, and the HSV is threatening the people responsible for the attack with a Stadionverbot. According to the Bundespolizei, the attack was planned, the people responsible had HSV-Dauerkarten and were previously registered in the "Gewalttäter Sport" file.

That is becoming a more and more serious problem nowadays. With all those idiots I can understadn why the police was that aggresive when Rapid was playing in Hamburg. Also in Austria violence is getting out of hands. Even in 5.Klasse games there need to be dozens of policemen in combat gear just to make sure that no one is killed.

I hope they give them Hardcore Strafen!

Same here, especially in the lower leagues in East Germany.

By the way, I got a reply from the ZDF. Mr Poschmann wasn't in Mexico City to comment the Mexico vs. Spain game. here is what they wrote:

vielen Dank für Ihre E-Mail an das ZDF.

Wolf-Dieter Poschmann ist nicht für die Kommentierung des Spiels "Mexiko - Spanien" vor Ort gewesen, sondern hat im Off-Sprecherraum in unserem Sendezentrum in Mainz das Spiel verfolgt.

Wir danken Ihnen für Ihre kritische Rückmeldung.

Forget about those people getting draconian punishment, because the pussyfication of the justice system and the incompetence of the judges won't allow it. Hell, our future mayor Christoph Ahlhaus has been responsible for showing total incompetence after underestimating the violence potential of the Chaostage during May 1st when he still was interior senator (not to mention that he nominated a blatant liar as senator of the economy). Even if Ahlhaus and his cronies were competent enough, they wouldn't punish them for fear of backlash from people who would scream that the police is making fans look like criminals.

I just discussed the same with my wife an friends. A 20 year old guy was !!!! shoot!!!! in a f&%$ing " Drive-By" in Vienna on Saturday night! And it seems like that there was no intention to kill anyone. They are looking for some " Halbstarke" now and the moral of the story: Maybe but only maybe those guys will go to jail because it is not Mord but Schwere Körperverletzung mit Todesfolge. WTF, I am the last to call for a "hard hand" but somehow those bastards regardless if they are hooligans or just bored Teenagers must be punished!

Sorry to go off topic but is something all of us, especially football fans are bothered with. More idiots = more security controls= longer waiting times ( just like at the airport nowadays! ) and then we will get rules like in England where you have to sit most of the time in the stadion!

Nice game. I tuned in around the 80th minute, and it looks like I didn't miss much.

Awesome, I am so glad that he is back in the Bundesliga! Dude is by far the best playmaker around!

The people who made Dusel in football salonfähig has been the SV Werder Bremen.

Forget the Dusel-Bayern! The people who made Dusel in football salonfähig has been the SV Werder Bremen.

I wouldn´t put it this way. Bayern is always trying to win the game until the last minute. Even though you did not have the same feeling with Bremen yesterday, they normally also fight until the last minute. Thats why from time to time they show some very interessting games in the European Cup games.

Good job Wolfsburg! Always nice to have such players in the Bundesliga.

Having made the next round in the DFB Pokal we straight away invested the money into a new player.

And we are the first ones who can check him out in the game vs. RWO on Friday evening.    Looks like a good hire to me with 71 games in the 1. Bundesliga and 44 games in the 2. Bundesliga.

For tomorrow's draw, Werder is in Topf 2 with Real Madrid, Inter and Bayern in Topf 1, and Schalke is in Topf 3 and could potentially face Inter and Real Madrid in the worst case.

Now the police even wants to have the Eintracht - HSV game in another week!

At least the decision was taken that the FSV will play its game against Schalke at the Hang.

Diego to Wolfsburg - I guess that means Schalke will get Misimovic.

When the second round would be on a weekend like the first round, they wouldn't have a problem like this, then they could have one game on Friday, another one on Saturday and another one on Sunday or even on Monday. Ok, in this special case I expect one game on Tuesday, another one on Wednesday and another one - exceptionally - on Thursday.

Good to read. I am sure that the Hang will be sold out!

This whole transfer-circus is getting out of hand, go to the Bundesliga page of Bild-Online and look at all the headlines and rumors regarding Bundesliga transfers. I don't know what to believe there anymore. They are even reporting that the BVB will hire a "Kracher" (whoever that is).

I guess it is safe to say that we can expect a few Knallerspiele in the Champions League. The draw is today at 6pm (live on Sky and Eurosport) and I will definitely watch it.

Today is Europa Liga day!

Keep your fingers crossed for Rapid. We play in BHX vs. Aston Villa! Since I have Auswaertsmatch embargo I will watch from home.

Seems like as Magath wants Sylvie van der Vaart in his team. I thought he wants to fight for his place against Özil....

Looks like the Bayern-Dusel worked again, didn't it   ? A team coached by their former player Thorsten Fink, a team that plays in a crappy stadium with barely any fans unless you count the hools on the outside, and then there's also Cluj  .

Allez Allez, god damn it, I am getting to old for such games. 3:2 win @ Aston Villa is absolutely not what I expected. Puls 180 and higher!

Dortmund as opponent would be fun.
