I believe the same!

Anyway, I don't think Bayern is buyable.

Same here, the Bayern management is not stupid!

So, there is Europa League tonight with the BVB, Bayer 04 and the VfB. Tomorrow begins matchday #4 with no less than three derbies (S04-BVB, Pauli-HSV and Union-Hertha), then we have a one day lasting break and then we have an "Englische Woche" with 1. and 2. Bundesliga games on Tuesday and Wednesday. I am looking forward!

Pretty good match day in the UEFA-Cup, sorry, "Euro-League" for Germany today. Leverkusen with a clear 4:3 against Trondheim, Stuttgart with a 3:0 against Bern, and Dortmund, gee, that game sure wasn't for people with weak hearts, 4:3 against Lwiw. More points for the 5-Jahres-Wertung.

And after reading more and more about the UEFA-Scandal involving Limacher and his "trustworthy employee" Boksic, I want to see the entire fvcking UEFA go down in flames. I mean, you hire a guy who is under investigation for mafia-like activities in Germany AND Croatia, and choose him to assist in judging other teams and punishments? Seriously? Goddammit...

I pity everyone who paid for a ticket to watch the game in the stadium tonight. It is long time ago that I've seen such a piss poor football game! This is not even 3rd Liga level. Ridiculous and an embarrassment for the whole Bundesliga! I am glad that it is over in a few minutes!

Patrick

Edit:

And on top of that is Freiburg scoring an offside goal that the referee gave.  rotfl

I wouldn't go so far but I would say that the Bundesliga has become a bit strange lately. Can we blame it on this new Adidas "Torfabrik" ball? Last week were all results of the 1. Bundesliga the complete opposite of what I have predicted (so did one member of our "Tippspiel" team and we made very few points in general). We complained like crazy about the referees at the World Cup.... the morons tonight were not a bit better! The guy was at least 2 meters offside!

Well, it can only get better tomorrow!

The highest defeat in the history of Gladbach at an away-game.  Wow!

Also surprising: Bayern only 0:0 vs. Cologne. What a Parade from Mondragon at the end!

Mainz is Spitzenreiter, 4 games, 4 victories.

Schalke has 0 points, I hope that it is still the case tomorrow evening at 19:15h.

Why is there no football in Austria this weekend? I saw that the next matchday is on the upcoming Tuesday/Wednesday.

I predict a draw for tomorrow's game. Ok, a BVB victory would be the greatest but seeing Schalke with just one point after four matchdays isn't really bad either.

PS: Diego has been brought to hospital to check if his rib isn't broken. I really hope that he will make it to the Sportstudio tonight despite his injury.

Both of your girls are not stupid, they already noticed that there is always a lot of alc involved when you are going to watch a football game. You should have stayed sober during the last derby... I know that this is quite hard but not impossible.

Problem is that my wife considers 2 beer currently as too much. I tried to explain that there must be some "Symetrie" in a game. One beer first half, the other the second half. BUT that does not work.

Our next game than is on Wednesday, so some English weeks.

We lost 3:0 in Porto which was no surprise. We had some good chances but you need a lot more than just 4 or 5 to score a goal against such a Top Team. Next up is Besiktas in 10 days at home. ( Me there of course!)

The guy who scored the goal was at least two meters offside but the referee and his assistants didn't see that apparently, they gave the goal and Freiburg won indeed with 1:0 vs. Frankfurt.

It's derby time in 40 minutes, Pauli vs. the HSV at first and after that the mother of all derbies... Schalke 04 vs. Borussia Dortmund! I am looking forward!

God damn it, we won in Elferschiessen 3:4 against the Austria Amateure. ORF is not bringing the games btw so I have to watch on Puls 4, who have no expierence in broadcasting games, so whenever we stormed via the left side you only saw the Time and Score and not the player, but at least they showed the game.

Funny and same time a Armutszeugnis and Bankotterklärung gave Red Bull Salzburg! They lost against 3t. Ligist Blau Weiss Linz ( rather know for some crazy Hooligans from the early 80ties than Football in Austria) beat them 3:1 with Salzburg managing only to score their goal in the 91st minute.

After this + Euroliga loss against Man City and only 5 Points in da Liga it is getting eng for Huub Stevens and Did Beiersdorfer. Will be interesting too see how long Didi Mateschitz will watch it, BUT who gives sh*t about this freakin Retorten Dosen Müll Club!

Even better was yesterday's edition of "Zeiglers wunderbare Welt des Fußballs", he showed the highlights of the game with the comments of Nobby Dickel's comments from the BVB Netradio. I laughed my ass off.

But the absolutely best scene yesterday was when the whole BVB fan-block waved towards the Schalke fan-block with white tissues after Lewandowski scored the 3:0.

I was also amused about several comments that readers posted on Bild-Online today, my favorites:

- "Wie merkt man sich die 11880? 11 Schalker Spieler kosten 88 Millionen, haben aber 0 Punkte"

- "Ein Leben laaaaang keine Schale in der Hand.... und Peter Zwegat auf der Baaaank"

- "Über Dortmund lacht heute die Sonne. Über Schalke die ganze Welt"

Der 19.09.2010, der Tag an dem der FC Scheiße starb!

Yesterday I saved the game incl. interviews and analyzes on the hard drive of my IPTV receiver.

A few minutes ago I heard on WDR 2 that Westfalia Herne is searching for a sponsor/name of their stadium, some dude called an suggested to rename it into "Hier spielt bald der FC Schalke" Stadion.

After just one day break we have Bundesliga again tonight and tomorrow. Today we have:

1. Bundesliga (20:00h):

1. FSV Mainz 05 : 1. FC Köln
1899 Hoffenheim : Bayern München
Hannover 96 : Werder Bremen

2. Bundesliga (17:30h):

Energie Cottbus : SpVgg Greuther Fürth
Hertha BSC : Karlsruher SC
FSV Frankfurt : Alemannia Aachen
SC Paderborn 07 : Rot-Weiß Oberhausen

I am looking forward!

Well, Werder got a Klatsche last night, the Last-Minute-Bayern from last Champions League season returned in Hoffenheim (thanks to Thomas Müller and Daniel van Buyten), and Mainz is still in Karnevalstimmung as they continue on as Tabellenführer.

Hopefully tonight we can take advantage of Gladbach's crisis and win our match against the VfL. We could use those three points for our mission to get the minimum 40 points.

Should be a walk in the park for Pauli when Gladbach appears like last weekend. That looked like a training game and not like an official league game.

the Last-Minute-Bayern from last Champions League season returned in Hoffenheim (thanks to Thomas Müller and Daniel van Buyten)

Thanks to them I made 40 points at the Tippspiel.:D

80 points for me, first perfect score this season  .

Patrick, the cartoon link you posted on FB was priceless:

Saw it in the Bild today, friggin hilarious.

Also heard another somewhat funny joke today:

"Warum kriegt man in Gelsenkirchen Currywurst mit Pommes nur in der Tüte?

Weil da keiner 'ne Schale halten kann."

The perfect joke to start my workday tomorrow, the Schalker guy in the office next door will be amused.

PS: I simply love englische Wochen, coming from work, switching the TV on and watching 2. Liga Konferenz... awesome!

Well, the bad news is: Schalke won a game.

The good news is: They are still last.

The better news: Pauli won, HSV lost, and Dortmund continues to be awesome.

My 1:1 tip was correct until a few minutes before the end.

and Dortmund continues to be awesome.

I just came back from the Westfalenstadion. What an awesome game it was, I didn't expect such a clear victory after the team had so many games in the last few days. I am proud of them, really!

Talking about good time management, the Sportschau just begins! Whoohoo!

...and I don´t know why but I tipped a 3:2 for K´lautern.....

Rapid lost right now again, which gives the second Krise of this very young season. It was loss #3 in the Liga in a row.
It should not be an excuse but our Spielmacher Steffen Hoffmann ( some of you might know him ex- Bayern Nachwuchs) in Vienna since 7 years or so almost refused to play since his Family and himself !!!! and now take seat!!!!! were severly verbally insulted and threathed by a VIP - MEMBER of RAPID!!!!!!!

Hey, we call him a Fussballgott in St. Hanappi and a f***ing VIP Guest does such sh*t. Unbelievable and very sad!

http://kurier.at/sport/fussball/2034574.php

Once again it is no excuse for playing bad as a team, but I can hardly find words!

Yeah to the detriment of SC Freiburg

I see that Schalke scored the winning goal 3 minutes from time and to add insult to injury Freiburg got a red card right on 90'

I just added the following to my notebook: "May 14, 2011. The BVB's championship party, Village, Dortmund. End open.".

As much as I'd like to see a Meisterschaftsfeier at the BVB, please be so generous and give us those six points, so St. Pauli can complete it's mission to get 40 points and with it, the Klassenerhalt.

That being said, our investment in Gerald Asamoah may pay off. He came, saw and helped us win in Gladbach, and the BVB murdered Kaiserslautern and put them back auf dem Boden der Tatsachen. This season is more interessting than we ever thought it would be...

Excatly. This makes the Tippspiel even more funnier as well.

Oh, I just saw that the BVB plays in Pauli on the upcoming Saturday. Somehow I have the feeling that they will return to Dortmund with three points more on their account.

Not for me, I have the fewest points of us all.

To visit the away match in Leverkusen yesterday all female Eintracht Fans had to go into a tent and undress to be "inspected". The police state we're living in is really incredible.
