I'm more of an Indy fan, as in ROH, Dragon Gate, EVOLVE, etc, rather than the WWE. Not saying the WWE is bad, but as far as actual wrestling goes, the others are simply better. And no, that's not including TNA, because that is just a clusterfvck rebirth of the dying days of WCW.

I'd tend to agree with ya, but my fave wrestler is on TNA nowadays, UGH.

Ehh, I think the Nexus storylines have been drawn outtoo long and is just leading up to John Cena's hiatus from WWE. Just get it over with already and let John Morrison and R Truth have the damn belts already!

I've been a fan for nearly 20 years. I started watching it when I was 4 years old with my Grandfather. I guess I watch it out of habbit. I haven't made it thru a full RAW in years. Its too predictable and you always know the Main Event is not going to happen/interference etc. The Nexus thing is getting old and so is the GM. I don't think they will ever reveal it, or it will be something stupid (like Cole or McMahon). I was really looking forward to seeing The Rock this summer, as he was suppose to be a special guest but I guess not.

As was I, but the GM storyline is the only thing left that has me watching, but more and more so, I watch TNA just for Jeff Hardy's apperances.

I hope the GM ends up being either Triple H/Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, or the Rock.

Yeah, we'll see. Who knows when they will "reveal" this person. It grabbed my attention but as time went by it got less and less interesting as it was like "oh, i don't think they'll reveal the GM tonight".

They sure as heck wont do it on Monday Nights. They'll wait for a PPV. I was at the World Tour the other day with the fam and the GM sent an email, lol. It was so funny because me and my fiancee were lip synching along with Michael Cole, lol. She even copied his placing of his glasses..."And I quote..." LOL, good times though, it was awesome to see Undertaker and kane go at it.

No kiddin'? Must be off to make another move or something. HHH is rumored to come back sometime late this year - maybe this will be the time.

I was really into WWF/WWE since the late 80s. I watched every WWE show that came on tv from 89-99. I remember watching the first Monday Night Raw (Raw is War I think). I think WWE hit it's peak right around DX's first coming/The Rock/Stone Cold/ManKind etc. I think it's a little ridiculous now. Some of the guys are unbelievably big in stature, but as someone said above I can't bring myself to watch an entire episode of Raw or Smackdown. Not to mention why is it on SyFy now?

I agree. I think John Cena will "beat the living crap out of Wade Barrett" at the next PPV and be "fired" by the so-called GM. Then John Cena will be on hiatus for a while and Triple H will be back soon.

The former contract for Smackdown expired. WWE has always had a good relationship with NBC Universal and USA and SyFy are both part of NBC. It was only natural for Smackdown to move to one of NBC's networks.

Edit to add: If you have Universal HD (another NBC network), they show Raw and Smackdown back-to-back several times on Saturday nights.

I miss Andre the Giant, I remember being super impressed when the Hulk body slammed him. Apparently Superfly Jimmy Snukka was the strongest guy to ever wrestle in the WWF, he could bench 600 pounds.

Don't get me wrong 600lbs is no joke. My best squat max was around that! But there were a few guys that came in the past few years that I think maybe could lift more? Mark Henry, Batista, British Bulldog, Brock Lesnar, Big Show (even though he weighs 2/3 of 600lbs) and one other guy who I cannot think of his name for the life of me. He wrestled maybe 2 years ago and I haven't seen him since, a young black guy who was really muscular with a bald head. I think he had beef with Cena. I think he won the Interncontential Championship at one point, but that may not be true.

I saw a great documentary on Andre on Tv. Really nice guy; I didn't realize all of the pain he went through before his death.

I remember those days, when DX was the prankster gang and Stone Cold was just this beer-swilling bad ass, lol. Good times! What drew me into WWE for good was Jeff Hardy's 40-ft high Swanton Bomb onto Randy Orton back in 2008...Whee!

I used to watch it...my favorite superstar was Randy Orton when he had his Legend Killer Gimmick and whats funny is when these guys contract's are up they all got to TNA....

I stopped watching after Stone Cold and The Rock left. They were my absolute favorite and without them it became way too boring I think...Nobody can even touch The Rock when it came to the microphone or the antics he did in the ring while fighting. The funny overexaggerations an dreactions and the gimmicks were priceless....

I believe you are talking about Bobby Lashley. He went to TNA for a very short time (and probably still made more money in that time than most X-Division wrestlers have made in years) and is now in MMA, fighting for Strikeforce.

Lesnar is a freak of nature, he'd probably be the most likely to bench 600 or more. Show is strong, but not that strong. You don't need your knees or quads to benchpress, are you getting confused with squats?

600 pounds is a pretty huge weight, even 5 time world strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowskis personal record is just over 600 pounds.

The Rock and Hulk Hogan were the best people on the mic as far as I'm concerned. Both could always get the crowd going.

It was more of a crack at both being rather injury-prone, much like Kevin Nash tears at least one quad while fixing his breakfast in the morning

Indeed she did lose, however, it was a nice try in any event! Now, I'd love to see her, Triple H and Stephanie get back to running the show, Vince has let the brand falter these last few months!

I only caught half of it, BUT, it was AWESOME seeing Superfly Snuka again, AND Jerry Lawler in his "royal" garb again! Oh...and Kofi Kingston beating David Otunga from the Nexus was fantastic too!
