One of the most disgusting hate pieces I have seen. Not even on a Humanitarian trip to Haiti does the lefts hate and fear of this Woman stop

I criticize anyone who inserts themselves into the news for their own personal gain as opposed to actually helping people. Why people worship her is beyond me.

People fear her because she has a ridiculous amount of power yet lacks the mental capacity/common sense to use it in any way that would not be destructive. That's why I fear her - if she was just a pundit with no political ambition (ala Hannity, Beck, etc.), there would be no fear.

People strongly dislike her for a multitude of reasons - but the things that irk me the most about her are the following:

- she only speaks in platitudes and talking points.
- she will not speak to anyone in the press unless it's on her terms, in a controlled environment
- she is vehemently anti intellectual

I agree with her lack of experience during the elction but I also believe Obamas lacked just as much if not more and he was in the top position.

- Governor of Alaska (less than 1 term)
- TV pundit and political insider (1 year and counting)

I'm not saying that Sarah Palin doesn't have any experience at all, or that hers is all bad or whatever, but if you were going to hire someone to fill an executive post and you had these two resumes in front of you, which one would you pick? And even after that, say you called both of these people into your office for an interview, and sat down and talked to them - would you feel more comfortable going with the candidate who spoke thoughtfully, rationally and with specifics or the one who spoke in generalities, cliches and was constantly acting defensive?

The President of the United States should obviously be able to go beyond an on paper resume and a good interview, and both of these candidates can point to their own legislative achievements and triumphs to trump up their chances of getting the job, but clearly, one candidate's background and accomplis stands out above the other.

She's an attention whore, and she's very good at it. That's why she stays in the news, and that's why stories like this get written.

I will say that she's in a no-win situation on this one: if she's seen being dolled up, she gets criticized for doing so when surrounded by so much poverty. But if she didn't, and ended up looking a bit disheveled, then she'd be called out for that. So I can't fault her for it. But I'll also say this: at some point, she made a conscious decision to try and build her brand by becoming a very controversial figure, and when you're a controversial figure, especially in politics, everything you do is going to be criticized by someone. Yet that's what she wanted. So I don't have any sympathy for her.

Has anyone who's been the president of the United States had the experience to run a "multi-trillion dollar international operation?" In my experience with large multi-national corporations, there are far more lawyers who run them than ex TV news/commercial fishing operators.

The colleges degrees for each were just one bullet point on a list that included many other factors. You're still sidestepping the question and not answering about who is the most competent out of the two provided.

Are you serious? Really? Any rational person when confronted with these two persons resumes and their public "interviews" would have to choose Obama, who's resume was at least sufficient, if not perfection. It's rare you get the perfect candidate for a job - some people have better qualifications, some people have worse. But this decision here? Objectively viewed, this is an easy call to make.

Hard to defend that one--she doesn't think well on her feet in an interview situation, so she stacks the odds in her favor. She's hardly the only politician to do that, though.

Except they are not the only ones who have criticized her, just perhaps more loudly...it's like a train wreck, everyone goes to watch, no?

A quick google search will alert you to the fact Palin has been criticized by plenty on the right wing as well - including Peggy Noonan, Karl Rove, Bill O'Reilly, David Frum, Morton Kondracke, Ed Rollins, Charles Krauthammer, George Will...the list goes on.

One thing that got me wound up about Sarah Plain is her recent jab, almost mocking, at the First Lady over her anti childhood obesity campaign. She went rambled on about how Michelle Obama does not trust parents to make decisions for their family. Of course she had to add that government needs to get off people's back, etc, etc, etc.

As far as I can tell the First Lady is not telling or forcing anyone to eat a certain way. What she is doing is bringing attention to a huge problem here in the USA. Obesity and in particular childhood obesity. When I was a growing up the fat kid in class was the rarity. Now it's becoming more common to see children with a beer belly.

It says a lot about Sarah Palin when she attacks Michelle Obama over this subject. It tells me that she does not use her head before she speaks. Like you said, it's ridicule not hate.
