BGSF/ SFJ Greenland Meet?

Hi guys,

last weekend I joined the A.net meet in AMS and I had a good time there.

So it made me think the other day: has there ever been a meet in Greenland? In BGSF/ SFJ?

Wouldn't it be great if all meet up in CPH and then take Air Greenland to SFJ and then spend a weekend there and then head back.

I think it would be a nice idea. I guess not too much traffic going on there, but if the weather is good some nice place to be...

Any feedback?

Sounds crazy enough to do it, but the last time I checked it the fares were extremely high (for a what- five hours? flight) plus Greenland isn´t excactly a cheap place to stay. But the idea somehow sounds great!

Sure it is expensive, I know. But it would be something special. Not always LHR, MAN, AMS, FRA or stuff like that  And I am sure many of us always wanted to go there. Well at least I want to.

Yeah, true, for a long time I also have been looking if some day a trip to Greenland would be possible. So count me in for this idea

There is no date set yet... And as you can see only 2 people are interested in...

I have a huge fascination with Greenland and am very experienced at that airport on Flight Simulator. Even though I always end up cancelling my attendance at these a.net meets, I'm interested!

If I go, I can lecture about the history of the area too.. I'm semi-well-read in Icelandic Sagas and medieval history. So I can read stories by the campfire. LOL

Hey... Nice idea... I'd definately be interested in this.. I'd love to go if the price is right as I am getting married next yeaar so can't really spend so much money..
