Colombian Insult

Thu Jun 02, 2011 7:40 pm

Hope some one can help me with this. A work colleague has just announced that he is upping sticks to go and live with his fiance in Colombia. I am looking for something witty to put in his leaving card so I was wondering if any Colombian A Netters could tell me any good local insults I could put in the card. Doesn't matter how rude they are, he is the only one in the office who speaks any Spanish! In fact, even better if he has to get his fiance to translate it for him
Thanks in advance.

hijo de puta = S.O.A.B. hahaha. Might be the wrong kind of insult though.

Quoting aerorobnz (Reply 4):

Literally translated it means son of a whore....colloquially translated the poster is right, it's used as SOAB. It's not specific to Colombia though, hijo de puta is used throughout South America. Maybe one of our Colombian members can help you out.

How about "marica huevon"?

It's a term of endearment among Colombians but oddly enough it literally means big-testicled fa**ot.
