This was my photo of the day last Sunday, it was taken at Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm where I was attending a photographic meet as part of another forum I am a member of, This is a Glasswinged Butterfly, I just loved the pose and the clear wings, I focused on the head of the butterfly.

Another one from the butterfly farm meet, when I saw the position of this one I decided it would be nice and kind of romantic to have it in the shape of a heart, A friend from the other forum has later pointed out that as well as the overall shape there are also lots of little white hearts on the wing's.

Having fun out with my brother-in-law, we both drive Land Rovers, I took my Range Rover through first and then got in position to take some photo's of his landie going through the ford, I'll admit I didn't take mine through at quite the same speed

Frogs at Brown County State Park, Nashville, IN. When you run into wildlife in this park, you usually get more than you bargained for. A few weeks ago we saw no less than 20 turtles sunning themselves in one of the lakes.

The thing I was really hoping for in the sunset photos was a heavy doing a low departure from LAX's 25R or L. I got a photo with an A320 (I think)....This is the best I could get:

Sorry to post AGAIN, but I forgot that I went shooting at the beach yesterday, for some beach sunset light and some LAX takeoffs (though I really wasn't positioned properly for that). But I had the opportunity to take a Mark Garfinkel-type moonshot!

However, since I don't happen to be Mark Garfinkel, this is the best I could come up with (to be fair, I was actually taking shots of the moon, and only noticed the airplane when it wandered into the frame...not to mention my longest lens is 300mm, so this is heavily cropped):

Thank you! Amazing the lift a full moon can give to a pic, particularly when it's lurking behind a few clouds. Love your sunset pic, only on second viewing did I see the A320. The colours are beautiful, and the silhouette of the trees really adds to it.

Yeah, that really bothered me too. On the other hand, I like it better that way than if it had just showed up as a spot instead of the star pattern

You know I actually like it and think it adds to the pic. It certainly draws your attention.

What an amazing thread! I am at work and have been a little stressed today and after looking over all of your photos I feel so relaxed and tranquil. I started working with stereographic pictures a while ago but here is my latest one, it's my neighborhood.
