Would You Hit It? (Rock And Roll Edition)

Fri Jul 01, 2011 12:17 pm

There is some seriously hot women in rock and roll today and I thought a thread to pay hommage and respect to them would honor their contributions to the world of music..... Nah! I wanna see some hot chicks that rock!!

Karin Axelsson of Sonic Syndicate

Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy

And who could forget the immortal Lita Ford?

I don't garre about your music, or your cars, but def. do about Heart. Even seeing Ann's looks since the mid-80s, I still get funny feelings seeing her on the cover of Little Queen, like I did when I was a teenager!!!

Yes the Little Queen album cover is great. I also like the gatfold photos on Dreamboat Annie and Dog & Butterfly.
I don't mind big girls but Ann got too huge (even for me) around the time of the self titled album (1985) and onward. Didn't matter because I like that era of their music as well.

Anyway, my contribution (I don't really know their music, but I saw them on TV performing at Sonisphere I think, and she looked awesome):

The first pic are a local band here in Gifu, Japan - The Defenders.

The second two are of cutie guitarist Eriko Hashimoto of チャットモンチー (Chatmonchy), a decent and successful all-girl band from Tokushima. She's tiny, probably 5'2 at best, and is dwarfed by every axe in her arsenal. It's just too cute!

I am appalled at the lack of properly hot ass in this thread. Therefore, I will reluctantly end my boycott of WYHI threads for this one time to show ya'll how it's done.

I have no idea. When he replaced D'arcy with Auf der Maur, I remember him saying something like, "I don't look specifically for female bassists, but it just happened that way". Now, 2785 female bassists later, I'm not sure he could say the same thing.

But I really don't care about Corgan or the Pumpkins anymore. Jimmy Chamberlin was the best part of that band anyway.

Concur. The Pumpkins ceased being relevant right around the time Corgan did his "I'm tired of fighting against the Britneys and Christinas" BS and took his ball and went home. Zwan was a disaster from its conception, as was Pumpkins 2.0 (or maybe 1.5?)

At any rate, whilst on the subject of redheaded rockers from the Commonwealth...Shirley Manson, anyone?
