Yeah, it's the Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom. Picked it up for $250... not the best pickups but it seems to be well made and it's got that Tele "twang"

Nice! I'm looking around for a used American Standard Tele with the maple neck and three-tone sunburst. I got a great deal on a new Blues Junior NOS amp, so I need something to go with it. Nothing as useless as a guitar amp without a guitar.

Great choice - many regard that lens to be the sharpest zoom Canon's ever made.

As for me?

Should be making her way from the HKG shop to my mailbox, hopefully some of her journey may include a real A380 perhaps?

The last cool thing that I bought was this Polish PPS-43C a couple of weeks ago. It is bitchin'.

I also recently scored this 1958 Eclipse F19 rotary mower. She runs good, but needed restoration.

She is apart right now and is in the process of being painted. She'll look like new before long.

This is my Christmas 2011 gift to myself. An all Koa wood White Label Kamaka Concert ukulele (early 1970s). This uke has the most wonderful tone. A gem of a ukulele and highly valued collectible.

Sitting here finishing the remnants of the '85. Staggeringly good. Maybe not quite as good as the '83, but really splitting hairs.

There are even 19" 1080p TVs available. I got this 24" LED Insignia (Best Buy brand) to replace the old Sharp Aquos 20" LCD in my room. The TV was on sale for $200, so I decided to buy it. My computer has a Blu-ray drive and HDMI port, so I connected to my new TV and can now watch my 1080p videos in full 1080p and Blu-ray disks.

I also found out that there are some digital and HD channels hidden in my basic analog cable signal, so I will be watching the Super Bowl in HD this year.

When I worked at the Job Corps campus at their medical center, there'd always been these dudes coming in for condoms (we gave them away free, of course) asking for Magnums.

There was this one kid who was particularly obnoxious about it and always came in trailed by a group of his buddies while he asked for Magnums. One day, I just casually asked: "Who is that you want Magnums for, now?" One eyebrow slightly raised, but otherwise complete deadpan. Here I am, kakhis, button-down shirt, white coat, stethoscope, every bit the 30yo young professional physician. These guys saw me as a doctor, but not as a human being. So when I suddenly threw out the verbal jab, all his friends went totally nuts.

He never came back asking for Magnums again.

You guys are funny and being jovial but I was completely truthful with my post.

I'll even add a somewhat embarrassing story to it. For the longest time as a teenager and young 20yo I NEVER knew I needed larger condoms. I mean I had sex for like 4 years before I realized that I needed magnum sized condoms. I just thought they were supposed to be really tight and really annoying. Try to put on a condom that is too small for you, sometimes it is even a struggle to keep your erection! It is really embarrassing being with someone really hot and having this tighta** condom constricting your hard on. I was so amazed when I found the magnums fit so awesomely that I was like OMG... The thickness is the problem. I'm not bragging, I don't really need Magnum XLs or XXLs.

Just being honest.

I bought some tea online today, some Assam, Earl Grey, and peppermint herbal.

I have some clothes from Anthropologie being delivered today - two shirts and a cute bra. Already have the matching bottoms and cami!

Bought a bottle of albarino yesterday from Costco:

Really like albarino, and that's not surprising, since I love vinho verde which is often made with the Portuguese version of the same grape, alvarinho.
