We finalized our daughter's adoption today!

I love her so much and we're so lucky. She's happy and healthy and surrounded in love.

I love my daughter, my husband, my friends, and my job. Life is good.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a function at the Australian War Memorial. It was a fantastic evening, and they had arranged the place really nicely with the tables around a Lancaster Bomber, and other aircraft such as an Me109 hanging from the ceiling. It sounds quite kitsch, but the setting was beautiful.

Sorry about the picture quality as the photos were taken on my phone, and the lighting was very subdued.

My flight team won the Loening trophy at SAFECON this spring, and here we are presented with the trophy, I am on the wing of the Beech 18

Then a few days later, I did the 5k on the runway at ORD... And got distracted by the UA 777 at the end of the runway...

I climbed in a Lancaster bomber being restored up in Windsor, Canada with Falstaff back in 2009.

Some of those photos I am sure are quite bizarre or very "artsy". Wasn't he the one that was a high up manager for UA and lived in Denver and commuted to Chicago on a daily basis?

Beautiful car but totally falling apart. I've looked at 6 different ones for sale here in Bangkok and all are falling apart, rough idle and poorly maintained. It's the same car as the Infiniti Q45 but a much cooler front grille and tail lights.
I may end up with the Toyota Crown instead. I just hate the high car tax.

Superfly will know much better than I, but I'm pretty certain that's what it is

IIRC they date back to a time when Nissan weren't quite so "independent" in their design cues, and their build quality was much worse than today

I did the JFK 5K run a couple years ago. Couldn't get myself to turn around once I saw a bunch of widebodies getting ready to take off.

I'm not much of a picture guy, but this is the most recent I have of me. My buddy was trying to take a pic of the tower at Oshkosh, but I may have accidentally on purpose jumped in the shot

. The only difference is I look like Grizzly Adams now, I'm not the biggest fan of razor blades.

What was wrong with Nissan in the 1990s?
They were fantastic in the 1980s with their Maxima in the early to mid 1980s.

Nissan/Datsun was a solid company in the 1970s and 1980s.
I wouldn't mind having a Datsun 810 wagon. That along with the Maxima (which replaced the 810) were solid cars and many are still running today.
1990s and newer Nissans all seem to have some sort of problem. I do like the Cefiro and the Cedric but many of those look kind of rough today. For Japanese cars, nothing beats Toyota.

I use Flickr, but Photobucket works as well

If you have Flickr then:

1) find the share icon in the bottom left corner (the arrow coming out of the box),
2) select "Grab the HTML/BBC code"
3) check the box to select "BBC code" (it defaults to HTML)
4) Copy and paste the link
5) [optional] delete everything after the first [/url] as it just adds your name and the photo # as a caption

Have you owned one over 5 years old?
I've known plenty that's owned the Eclipse, Expo, Galant, Montero and all had powertrain and cosmetic problems.
My ex's Eclipse transmission went out at 75,000 miles. The many plastic parts would also wrap and take on a new color while others would just fade & crack.
I hear that Mitsubishi makes good tuna.

Me in front of something older than my mom: A 115 series train on the Chuo Main line, past where most of the rapid services end in Takao.

This was taken at Sagamiko station. When she stopped, i rushed out to take a photo. The train driver began laughing after I took the photo.

Mitsubishi Lancer and 'tank' just do not go in the same sentence. I'm sure her's served her well but I wouldn't refer to it as a tank.
