Quoting bennett123 (Reply 4): So how would you deal with it. |
Quoting giancavia (Reply 3): Religion of peace blah blah, It isnt all of them blah blah... Few nutjobs blah blah. Seems to be happening on such a regular basis now |
Quoting md11engineer (Reply 6): Lock anybody away who sprouts radical propaganda. If somebody uses violence crack down on them without inhibitions, if necessary kill them. |
Quoting bennett123 (Reply 4): So how would you deal with it. |
Quoting planewasted (Reply 5): That is exactly what these terrorists wants. |
Quoting PHX787 (Reply 8): Muslims NEED TO TAKE A HUGE STAND against this and stop blindly supporting them. |
Quoting planewasted (Reply 5): That is exactly what these terrorists wants. |
Quoting stealthz (Reply 7): Stop the scare mongering this is just another isolated independent attack.. |
Quoting planewasted (Reply 5): |
Quoting PHX787 (Reply 11): Not isolated. Nothing is 'isolated' anymore. These radicals are influenced by multiple connected sources. This wasn't a lone wolf attack either. It's not isolated. |
Quoting pvjin (Reply 12): By pretending that there is no problem you apologists do just what ISIS wants. |
Quoting PHX787 (Reply 11): This wasn't a lone wolf attack either. It's not isolated. |
Quoting tommy1808 (Reply 14): Given that the "War on Terror" was the most expensive recruiting campaign probably ever conducted, we do know that the "Kill them all" approach dosn´t work. We do however know that back in those days terrorists where largely handled like the petty criminals that they are, they where under control pretty quickly. All w/o extralegal killings, torture, back sites and secret prisons. War on Terror is nothing else then nation states applying the mindset of a terrorist to the problem. ISIS, as a de facto state is the first terrorist target worthy of the military attention they get. In fact, getting nation states to treat their Muslim population differently from their others citizens, that is what ISIS wanst. It gets much easier to make people think in terms of "them" and "us" vs. the host nation, if the host nation does it in the first place. best regards Thomas |
Quoting giancavia (Reply 9): How about not tolerating the BS, how about actually deporting the ones not from our countries that are preaching hate hiding behind "human rights". How about not allowing ones fighting in terrorist organizations to return to the country. |
Quoting stealthz (Reply 15): all the bleating Imams and whimpering Mufti made it |
Quoting Aesma (Reply 18): France does deport and/or imprison people on those charges very regularly (and gets called out as not respecting freedom of speech as a result). |
Quoting giancavia (Reply 17): They are fully trained with a good level of skill. |
Quoting baldwin471 (Reply 22): We're trying to stamp out medieval ideas, not bring them back in. |
Quoting tommy1808 (Reply 23): "successful" criminals have that in common. Nothing special about that. Murder is murder, no matter how cold blooded and skillful it has been done. And plenty of people on a shooting sprees elsewhere have been described as coldblooded, goal oriented and skillful. Despite lack of religious background. Is there some huge organization behind them, organizing training, too? |
Quoting baldwin471 (Reply 22): |
Quoting giancavia (Reply 24): lol you continue to live in la la land, You are precisely part of the problem. |
Quoting foxxray (Reply 2): It appears to be a terrorist attack. |
Quoting Dahlgardo (Reply 26): You fail to recognize that these attacks are politically motivated by Islamic ideology and it is happening in a lot places. |
Quoting tommy1808 (Reply 32): That is correct, i deny most so called terrorist the justification of having a political target at all. Including this time, as far as we can guess the reason behind those murders, someone was "just" getting even for an perceived insult. And sorry, but restoring the honor of your imaginary friend ain´t a political statement. |
Quoting Alfons (Reply 31): True. Because they were the terror themselves. |
Quoting foxxray (Reply 29): Have you turn on your TV ? Watched the news lately ?!!! |
Quoting Dahlgardo (Reply 34): Well, since Islam is an ideology as well as a religion, I can only see this as yet another attempt by islamic fanatics to enforce thier political views on our free societies by the means of terrorism. |
Quoting tommy1808 (Reply 37): After all, in Europe we all worked with, lived next door to or actually where catholics ourselves and therefore new pretty well that religion didn´t have much to do with blowing up pups in Birmingham.... |
Quoting travelavnut (Reply 36): Of course, just like IS, Al Quada, Boko Haram, 9/11, Madrid 2004, London 2005, beheadings, stoning, slavery, this has nothing to do with Islam...... |
Quoting Pyrex (Reply 30): Nah, I am sure someone will come up with a way to classify this as "workplace violence" or some-such. Some people above seem to already be trying. |
Quoting tommy1808 (Reply 35): well, obviously they neither did see it that way |
Quoting tommy1808 (Reply 35): So, whats your point, that there currently is a new murder bunch out that formed some sort of state? The only newsworthy part about that is that "the west" does actually seem to care a little bit this time... it may come as a shock to you, but that genocide level murder bunches roaming this planet didn´t get the same airtime ISIS gets today, doesn´t make them less real. |
Quoting md11engineer (Reply 39): I think the current crop of Islamists operates in exactly the same mindset: Attack the state, wait for the wooden mallet response by the government against ALL Muslims and then stirr up the now upset Muslims by offering them that the radicals are the only solution. |
Quoting travelavnut (Reply 38): Late last year a poll was held in the big cities of the Netherlands. 80% of the Islamic youth did not disapprove the methods of IS. |
Quoting foxxray (Reply 42): Wow !!!! Is it the best argument you have found ? Seriously ? |
Quoting foxxray (Reply 42): If ISIS says that they want to make this world a paradise, will you beleive them ? |
Quoting foxxray (Reply 42): It is terrorism, large scale terrorism, if nothing is done, it will expand more and more and more. |
Quote: These fanatics were very clear about their intentions |
Quoting bmacleod (Reply 47): Is it just me or is France is getting "way too liberal" in how it treats other religions, specifically Islam? |
