Well today ten years ago I decided to join A net, it has been a hell of a ride, but very entertaining and have learned a lot about the industry, the operations and of course my fellow Airliners net users.
Been to the "A380 wont fly" era.
To the Big "purge"
The 787 launch and stellar and endless "game changer" threads
The delays the fiasco of the 787
The A350 is a "Knee jerk reaction to Boeing"
ENDLESS when will NW will retire its DC-9's and subsecuently DL (now we know the answer: NEVER)
In the 10 years a lot of very knowledgeable people have left basically because of trolls (most are gone too), but some have stayed and made life a lot more interesting and corrected some of my assumptions.
From the FLAIRPORT saga, to the missing MH aircraft I have enjoyed not only the aviation threads but my fellow RUSH fans, the Would you hit it threads from FLYTOHMO, and a lot more.
THANKS THANKS THANKS.... hoping to see my 20th anniversary on Anet, before I check Out!!!
P.D. Now we have the "lets save the 757 threads" and the "A380Neo" to keep us interested....

Ah, but that was already history when you joined up.
Still, those were fantastic days. "Guys, I've thought about it a lot, and I honestly think the thing won't fly. It's just too big!" Good times. 
Samson was a biblical tough guy, but his dad Samsonite was even more of a hard case.

Congrats. I joined airliners.net 12 years 3 months 21 days ago (December 8, 2002). Back when the chatroom was blue and white text, back in the days of FlyAUA, Concordeboy and ANCFlyer. Non Av was definitely more fun back in the day!
