Only three year? Sounds like they don't have much faith in the show succeeding. Oh well, it was good while it lasted. RIP TopGear.

I may watch it, just to see what it's like. I definitely won't watch it every Sunday like I used to, and I think many people will do the same.

I can see it dying a slow death, one where everyone looks back wondering why they didn't kill it after the Clarkson fracas.

On another note, I can't wait to see what the three stooges have in store

One season and done.

I would love to see HBO get them, then put them on head to head with TG, just to twist the knife.

Considering how long it took for a) the chemistry between Clarkson, Hammond and May to develop and b) the show's formula to be adjusted, we can only hope that the future TG will be given as much time.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Chris Evans might be a car guy, but I think on TV he's had his day, the Beeb should keep him on the radio.

The next question is who will be the co-hosts?

Well based on the hat he is wearing in the article on BBC, they have their Dork.

Now who will be the piece of tail?

Not that anybody cares. I suspect this is being cast by the same person who came up with Top Gear America
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

I can't recall ever hearing of any UK TV channel offering anything longer than a 3 year contract, indeed 3 years by TV standards is a long term commitment.

Fair enough, I'm not really current on UK TV contracts, or any TV show contracts for that matter. Just seems short to me.
