I've always wondered if a certain poster or two (not going to name names) would refer to him as Rafael Cruz versus Ted, and Piyush Jindal versus Bobby due their insistence of always saying Barack Hussein Obama.

But using their full names doesn't prove that they're clandestine Muslims, which you knew all along because heavily edited YouTube videos told you so, the way Hussein does...

It is only acceptable for one party and their supporters to do it. When the other party and their supporters do it, it is offensive and is flagged.

Not exactly foreign sounding, but John Ellis belongs to a very influential political family. You haven't heard who he is? Interesting...he's one of the front runners, along with Marco Antonio Rubio and Scott Kevin Walker.

But are you a politician? These folks mentioned are of course. I have to guess it is quite similar to Jeb Bush just using Jeb in his campaign. Disassociation from a name for whatever reason. They are politicians after all. I have never heard or seen Barack deny his name as these fellows seem to be doing.

Well, in legal name changes, one of the principal questions is whether the person petitioning for a change of name is doing so to evade creditors, etc. Is Senator Cruz evading some crime?

It looks like he goes by his second name and according to wiki 'Ted' is short for Edward so ..

Too bad he didn't get his father's second name, 'Bienvenido' or welcome in Spanish...

Around here most Latinos use American sounding names like Jennifer, Miley or who's ever popular at the time.

They can't pronounce them tho'

I don't see how Ted is short for Edward though. I can see Ed or Eddie. Ted, I'd argue for being the short version of Theodore. But how can a short version of a name be constructed with a letter that's not within the name and doesn't imply "little"? Eddie (little Ed); Johnny (little John).

Joe and Joey are an exception since adding the 'y' makes the name longer.

Recall that Ted Kennedy's legal first name was Edward. I don't quick understand it either, but there are often similar shortened versions of name. Bob=Robert, etc.

Sorry, it's quite common, though.

John - Jack.

A childish distraction. It is not as if his middle name will, in itself, somehow cause the man to alter his morality or character, and he never sought to conceal it.

And yet the very article you source notes that Penn was not a birther and the quotes don't mention anything about his place of birth, but rather his multicultural upbringing. Research into birtherdom was a side hobby of mine and it's usually believed that the first Birther post stems here, a post by a user named FARS in a thread entitled "FR CONTEST: Pin the Middle Name on the Obama" from March 1, 2008. A few days later, FARS' rumor was cited by blogger Alan Peters on his blog. Peters cited it repeatedly and ultimately the rumor gained more traction in the right wing blogosphere, as I mentioned earlier, on places like Michelle Malkin's blog, WND, and Atlas Shrugs.

I was told today that Obama swore in on a Koran for his Senate seat. I do not believe he did. Can someone clarify this for me? I am under the impression only a Congressman has so far sworn in on a Koran.

Also that Obama’s mother gave birth to him overseas and then immediately flew into Hawaii and registered his birth as having taken place in Hawaii.

Again, any clarifications on this? Defintely disqualifies him for Prez. There must be some trace of an airticket. While small babies are not charged air fare they do have a ticket issued for them.

Long time ago but there may be some residual information somewhere. Good ammo (if available and true) BEST USED AFTER he becomes PREZ (if that occurs) and it’s too late for Dems - except accept the VP.

William Jefferson Blythe III
