Well that was the game. The ABs won reasonably convincingly and Nigel Owens was amusing as usual.

Nicely done. Hat's off to DC in particular, great game in general. The Wallabies put up a good fight, and the skipper was very gracious in defeat.

So much so it took me aback. Quite unaustralian.

Then the sore loser "the ref was to blame" shit that supporters of both teams are renowned for showed up in the Aystralian media and undermined the staunch and humble message the Captain gave after the match.

What I thought was that Wayne Barnes still doesn't know what a forward pass looks like   I swear we had a slightly forward pass in the first half on his touch line lol

Hahaha...

Let's see how the trophies stack up if you include all sports

It was good for NZ that the All Blacks won otherwise NZ would have gone into recession by the end of this quarter

Seriously... the best and most dominate team, possible in all sports over the past decade, won.

I didn't watch the game because of work, but did SBW play? If so, how did he do? My Sydney Roosters need him back LOL...

Yeah he came on in second half, didn't do much tbh. Isn't he going to 7s next year or something?
I'm sure this thread will take off soon

Fantastic game! I thought that Beauden Barrett try was particularly good.

Yea, RIO gold hopefully at the Olympics lol.

Thought he was generally in the sense that he did miss a few things from both sides. That forward pass stood out like a sore thumb I was suprised it wasnt called tbh, and the ironic thing was that it was Wayne Barne's touch line. He's not a foward pass conneseiur lets say that

Yup, hope he doesn't give away his Olympic gold like he did his World Cup medal. Gota admit that changed my opinion of him somewhat, he was a prick when he played league, union has made a better man of him.

That kid was actually lucky he wasn't banned from future World Cup games. All the games so far have treated people running onto a pitch trying to mess with the players harshly and I'm surprised this was let off without even a severe telling off.

Sure he was tackled to the ground but he got a priceless medal for being an obnoxious little shit, hardly positive behavioural reinforcement. Just saying...

True, but that's the all part of the game, things like that happen every game. Plus we don't really have the right to complain about forward passes being missed

I was a bit more sympathetic when I thought the kid was 7 years old, should have know better tbh at that age but ok fine primary school, didn't perceive the situation etc... But turns out the kid was 14, different story here. Very very lucky not to be banned tbh and at that age shouldn't be encouraged
